Error with Valcam - App Not Started

Hello - we have an issue it's believed to be a hardware issue w/ a Valcam 8500-630. We are calling the EXE from a browser and it causes Error - App Not Started to display. Is this a Valcam software / driver / hardware issue? If we use a virtual twain driver to test with, it works correctly in our software. How do you fix this error? Is it our Cabinet files that could be the cause? It's worked previously, and we can only get it to work in Internet Explorer...

Based on the information provided, it appears that the issue may be related to the Valcam 8500-630 hardware and its compatibility with the software or browser that you are using. The error message "App Not Started" suggests that there is a problem with starting the application or the software is not able to communicate with the hardware properly.

The fact that the issue only occurs when calling the EXE from a browser and that it works correctly when using a virtual twain driver with your software, suggests that the problem may be related to the browser or the settings of your software. To fix this error, you should first try to update the software and the drivers for the Valcam 8500-630 to the latest version. It is also important to check the compatibility of the software and browser you are using with the hardware.

It is also possible that the problem is related to your Cabinet files. If this is the case, you should try to replace the Cabinet files with a new set or check if the files are corrupted. As a last resort, you can try to reinstall the software and the drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

After working on this for another 4 hours or so, we realized if we launch Internet Explorer as an ADMIN, then it can go out to C:\Windows\Syswow64 to open the Valcam EXE... is there a way to make it so IE can launch the program from a different directly instead of Syswow64?

Before confirming, I request you to perform the below steps to isolate the issue.

Step 1: Update BIOS from the below softpaq:

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Uninstall and reinstall the wireless drivers as follows:
