The issue you are describing with your Saeco Exprelia Evo coffee machine, where it displays a "heating up" message and then restarts without any error message, could be caused by a few different issues. Here are a few things you can check:

  1. Check the water tank: Make sure that the water tank is properly filled and that there are no blockages in the water supply line. If the water tank is empty or there is a blockage in the water supply line, the machine will not be able to heat up properly and will display a "refill water" message.
  2. Check the brew group: Make sure that the brew group is properly seated and that there is no debris or blockages preventing the flow of water through the brew group. If the brew group is not properly seated or there is a blockage, the machine will not be able to heat up properly.
  3. Check the heating element: Make sure that the heating element is functioning properly. If the heating element is not functioning properly, the machine will not be able to heat up.
  4. Check the thermostat: Make sure that the thermostat is functioning properly. If the thermostat is not functioning properly, the machine will not be able to heat up properly.
  5. Check the boiler pressure switch: Make sure that the boiler pressure switch is functioning properly. If the boiler pressure switch is not functioning properly, the machine will not be able to heat up.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or may recommend a qualified technician to repair the machine.
It's worth noting that these type of issues are usually caused by a malfunctioning component, and that attempting to fix it without proper knowledge could cause more damage and might void the warranty.

Saeco Exprelia Evo HD8857 - no power - need ideas!

It could of had broke your coffee maker when it was taken apart.
Unplug your coffee maker and then make sure that the coffee and filter are taken out before turning it over and then remove the base to have the heating element and thermostat being exposed and test the thermostat's continuity and If the thermostat broken have it be replaced. It could be clogged or there could be a water clogged and check the coffee tube too.

I have a Saeco Exprelia coffee machine, model HD8855/HD8857. I have an error message, RESTART TO SOLVE E19.

Try unplugging it for 30 seconds and then back in. Then try again. I hope this helps.

What does E19 error on Saeco Exprelia mean?

This means that the pump got overcurrent. Please descale properly with some vinegar for a few times and try again after some rinsing.

How to solve E05 problem on Saeco Exprelia?

I filled the water tank half with descaling solution (less diluted than normal - probably it was double or tripple strength) and restarted the machine several times. It kept on showing E05 each time, but it took in a small sip of the descaling, so I waited some ours and restarted it 3 times more. And repeated this for several times for 2 days. When I had almost given up, after 15-20 restarts, it primed and I could run a full descale. I forgot to weigh how much decaling it took in by each restart, that would have been nice to be able to post.

I was descaling my exprelia coffee machine.i was asked to empty the coffee grounds unit and the drip tray. I did that and the message keeps appearing. I even turned the machine on and off. Help.

  1. Thoroughly clean the small overflow area in the drip tray. Once the drip tray gets full water flows over a small rim into this small separate part thus triggering the sensor that tells that the drip tray should be emptied. Its waals may get a bit fatty/dirty, and so remains wet and keeps triggering the sensor.

Saeco error codes

I don't think this is the case. The E04 code is about lubrication of the brew group. This is directly from Saeco support in Germany. However, the problem does persist. It seems to be an issue of poor design more than anything else.

We have the Saeco Exprelia and have the error message E15. We have tried turning it off and back on again but still insists on cleaning the carafe but no water is coming through - almost like its blocked...

Working for the Philips-Saeco Costumer Service, so heres your fix.
Call your Hotline, tell em about the error code.
Its about the Temperature Controller steering the boiler.
Its not sending any signals to the boiler when this happens, and the only way to fix it is to have it repaired by a certified servicer.
Ask the hotline about that.
