Flatscreens made by the same manufacturer and of similar screen size may share the type of base but mostly they are different.

For example a 27" Sony may have the same base as a 32"Sony, but it will be different than a 46" Sony.

It looks like DYNEX uses the same base for their 37" and their 42" tv's but that's not guaranteed.

no manuels are necessary the new panel will come with logic and ballast board already you only need to transfer main and power supply .

if the remove the lamp and you have seen it is busted try replacing it with a new if it is not check the ballast.

With the 4 long screws removed, it should come out.

common problem on samsung. bad DMD BOARD. these are modules located on light-engine. there very proud of this little jewel. usually parts cost 400-500.00 dollars for the shop. after mark-up & labor don't be shocked at 600.00-700.00 repair bill. this is of coarse for dmd replacement. 85-90%. if logic board, est. 400-500.00 repair. mch
