I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your TV. Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check the power cord and make sure it's securely plugged into both the TV and the wall outlet.
  2. Try using a different outlet to see if the problem is with the outlet.
  3. Check the fuse or circuit breaker to make sure it hasn't tripped. If the fuse has blown or the circuit breaker has tripped, reset it and try turning on the TV again.
  4. If your TV has a detachable power cord, try unplugging it from the TV and plugging it back in to make sure it's securely connected.
  5. If you have a power strip or surge protector, try plugging the TV directly into the wall outlet to see if the problem is with the power strip or surge protector.
  6. If none of these steps help, you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or repair options.

Hey Tony, there are 2 things that can cause the issue your seeing, I want to double check one thing, when you say the standby light is on you mean it stays on, it stays on steady and doesn't blink, when you push the power button on the tv? If it blinks we need to go down another road however this model and many other models of Funai brand sets have main board issues, it's possible your power supply is bad however if you're getting standby voltage and you are if you see a standby light that means the hot side of the supply is working and that's where about 90% of power board issues are. Go to shopjimmy.com and put the model number of the main board in the search and see if one is available, as a last resort look on ebay but I don't advise buying boards there.
Hope this helps, one other thing, if you can't fix it yourself you might as well recycle it as taking it in for service will run close to the cost of a new set.

Problem with Samsung led tv with no sound or picture.

The first things to try are of course the simplest. If you have a picture on your TV but no sound, the problem might be as simple as having the “Mute” button the remote having been accidentally pressed. Grab your remote and unmute the TV by pressing the “Mute” button again.
Next, check what the input setting is on your Samsung TV by hitting “Source” on the remote and cycling through the available inputs. If your Samsung TV’s source is set to a component that you don’t have set up, then there won’t be any audio data coming in to be played.
Do you ever use a headset on your TV? Gamers, in particular, might be using a wired set of headphones plugged into an audio out jack, and if the headphones are plugged in, then any audio is being routed to that equipment, and you might not hear the sound playing if you aren’t wearing the headset. Assuming you never use a headset on your TV, check the headset port for any debris. Your TV may pick up something in the port which won’t allow the audio to route properly.
Finally if this does not work, you can try the old school way...unplug the your TV for about an minute.

How do I program this RCA nightclub universal remote for my Samsung smart TV

First understand that you need a little patience with this remote, it's a little slow, it may take a few seconds in between pushing buttons for it to react to your TV.

1)
-Turn on TV manually first.

we're going to try and get the remote paired to your particular tv

2)
-Facing RCA universal remote towards TV, press and hold both the POWER and TV buttons on the remote at the same time.. until the RCA universal remote POWER button lights up and is constantly on.

-Then press the PLAY button on RCA universal remote

(POWER button on remote should be blinking after pressing PLAY -- what the remote is doing is trying to program your TV with a list of codes. if your TV does not automatically shut off after a minute, press the PLAY button again. your TV should shut off. wait a few seconds before trying to press PLAY button again if you need to try again.)

3)
Assuming remote turned off TV. Now let's try to get the remote to turn on your TV

On the remote at top right is a REVERSE button, press that. You should see the POWER button on the remote blink once in response to you doing that.

Watch for the power on light on your TV.. your TV may take a few seconds to power on..

Wait a couple seconds. if your TV has not turned back on, press the REVERSE button again. the POWER button should blink once again in response

If your TV did not turn on. You may have to repeat pushing the REVERSE button waiting a couple seconds for the remote to try turning on your TV. For some people this can take several times, if not a dozen times. Just be sure to be patient and wait a couple seconds in between pressing the REVERSE button again. (what the RCA universal remote is doing is going through a list of codes trying to find the right model to pair to)

4)
Assuming the remote finally turned on your TV.. We are almost done. We programmed the remote to turn off the TV and turn on the TV. now we want to press the STOP button on the RCA universal remote to lock in those codes into the remote. After pressing the STOP button the light on the remote POWER button should turn off.

5)
We are done. You should be able to change the channels and raise and lower the volume of your TV.

I bought a rca universal remote, how do i program it to my apex tv?

Try the below i hope it helps I don't have the codes, however I can tell you how to find the code on your remote without pressing any numbers! Hold the code search button until the red light on the remote remains on. Then, press "TV". After this, point the remote at your television and press the power or on/off button over and over again SLOWLY (one time every second) until the TV turns off. DO NOT PRESS THE POWER BUTTON AFTER THE TV TURNS OFF!!! Once it does, press the "enter" button on the remote. Then, the remote should work on the TV. 100% 1 Vote
