Kortek MagicSing YK5000 not connecting to LG Smart TV with HDMI.

I have connected karaoke to TV via YPbPr adaptor input & hdmi output. Thanks.

  • Anonymous Dec 26, 2022

Thanks for responding, Arty. All three suggestions are tested - everything is fine.

Karaoke works properly with original TV directly. So Karoake m/c + LG Smart TV HDMI ports and cable are all tested individually - all work well.

Is there any other adaptor/converter I should try? Thanks.

It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with your Kortek MagicSing YK5000 not connecting to your LG Smart TV via HDMI. Here are a few suggestions for troubleshooting the issue:

  1. Check the HDMI cable: Make sure that the HDMI cable is securely plugged into both the Kortek MagicSing YK5000 and the LG Smart TV. Also, check the cable for any damage, such as frayed wires or a broken plug.
  2. Check the HDMI input: Make sure that the HDMI input on your LG Smart TV is selected and that the TV is set to the correct input source.
  3. Check the TV settings: Make sure that the TV's settings are configured to accept an HDMI input from the Kortek MagicSing YK5000.
  4. Check the YPbPr adaptor input: Make sure that the adaptor is securely plugged into both the Kortek MagicSing YK5000 and the LG Smart TV. Also, check that the adaptor is not malfunctioning.
  5. Check the TV firmware: Check if there's any firmware updates available for your TV and make sure that it's up to date.
  6. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above solutions work, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer of the Kortek

I have red, yellow& white come out my dvd and only white & red plug in on the back of my tv how do i make that work and which source and channel i put the tv on

Red and White are audio, yellow is video. On the back of the TV there should be a yellow jack if it takes external inputs. There are two ways to connect your Blu-ray Player to your amplifier. Via HDMI output: Connect the player's HDMI OUTPUT to the corresponding INPUT on your amplifier using an HDMI cable. If your amplifier has an HDMI OUTPUT, connect that to the HDMI INPUT on your TV using an HDMI cable. See if these links help.

Guys, Recently i got LG 22" LCD TV. It has VGA port and HDMI port. When i connected my CPU cable toLCD via VGA port it didn't show anything, :"( i checked input MENU on remote then it shows only 4...

HDMI [High Definition Multimedia Interface]. VGA [Video Graphics Array]. AV [Audio Video]. By these definitions itself talk to you about the inputs your TV have; and it do not support VGA. Output from PC is VGA. Without a VGA input with the TV, you can't connect the PC to TV. I think I'm clear. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

HOW I CONNECT MY LG 47 LED WITH LAPTOP

If you have "HDMI" port then that will give you the best picture. Just connect HDMI lead to both and select the HDMI input through your tv remote and the picture will show. If not you van connect via the VGA output if you have a vga cable. Same process.

Hi Jatinder Kumar ,
Yes you can connect your computer output to lcd tv through dvi-hdmi cable or vga-hdmi cable.
1. Connect to HDMI (DVI) : just plug in HDMI (DVI) out of PC or laptop to HDMI or DVI TV. Than select source from HDMI.
2. Connect to PC : Plug D sub to TV, select PC in.

I hope that will help you.

How do i use it so my tv programming is in surround sound?

if the Comcast cable box has an HDMI output, it should connect directly to one of the TV HDMI inputs. Then connect the LG DVD unit HDMI output to the second HDMI input of the TV. Use two HDMI cables. Do not buy the expensive Monster HDMI cables. If you have already done so, I recommend you take it back for a refund, then buy the low cost HDMI cables which will work just as good and then you can bank the savings toward a new Porsche Boxter!! Now we have the video connected from both the cable box and the LG system.

Now--what do you do if the cable box does not have an HDMI output--just use its component output and your component cable (red, blue and green) to connect to the TV component input. This will still get the video to the TV and good HD pictures. Hum--do you have an HD cable box? You did not say and I just assumed that you did since you got the HDTV. If not, let me know with a follow up question and I will assist in that area further.

Now for the audio connections--The DVD player will not need any connections since it in the LG unit. The sound will come out the speakers when you start playing the DVD. The cable box is where we get the TV audio to feed the LG unit. If the cable box has an optical output, use an optical cable (again the low cost one)and connect to the optical input on the LG.
This will get the TV audio to the surround system. If no optical output, use the red and white (left/right) audio connections and connect to one of the two the LG audio inputs. To hear TV audio on the LG speakers, just switch to that input or the input associated with the optical input.

To watch DVDs, switch the TV to the HDMI input to which you connected the LG unit. For TV, go to the other HDMI input (or component input).
Switch the LG to the audio input to which you connected the cable box to get TV sound.

Hope this gives you food for thought. If so, and you have more questions, just come back in with a follow up.
