If two burners on your Smeg SR275XGH2 gas hob have a very low flame, it may indicate a problem with the burners or the gas supply. Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:

  1. Check the gas supply: Make sure that the gas supply to the hob is properly connected and turned on. If the gas supply is off or disconnected, the burners may not function properly.
  2. Check the burners: Check the burners for any visible damage or blockages that may be causing the low flame. Make sure the burners are clean and free of any debris or foreign objects.
  3. Check the gas pressure: Make sure that the gas pressure to the hob is set correctly. If the gas pressure is too low, the burners may not function properly.
  4. Check the connection: Make sure that the connection between the hob and the gas supply is secure and not damaged. If the connection is damaged, it may cause the burners to function improperly.
  5. Contact technical support: If the above steps do not help, you may need to contact Smeg or a technical support team for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose the problem and provide you with the necessary support.
It is also a good idea to check the documentation or manual that came with the hob for any troubleshooting tips or recommendations.

Gas hob Luce(hotpoint) gas on glass 5ring burners keeps going out on low flame when pull pan drawer beneath out

Same problem with my hob. I adjusted the small jets to their lowest setting in order to be able to simmer -impossible on the bigger jets. The problem is the vents underneath the hob. These can't be closed off so the problem appears to be in the design. The solution I have to use while I save up to by a decent German model is to open and close the cupboard doors underneath the hob very, very slowly.

New smeg gas cook top. flames burn with yellow top

There has to be a small screw close to where the burners are located and all you need to do is turn clockwise half a turn at a time (have the flame/burner on), to adjust the flame . Good luck

Cannot ignite central gas ring on smeg 5-ring kitchen hob

I had a similar problem on a different gas range but your problem seems the same as mine was.
I examined the underside of the burner and saw a little 'flash' left from the casting process and I filed it off. This made the problem worse; it wouldn't light at all anymore.
I tried the opposite, blocking off the burner channel from the gas feed pipe to the spark gap; problem solved. It hasn't had a hiccough since.
I can only imagine that the flow of gas toward the spark gap was so strong, the gas was blowing itself out.
Not knowing exactly how the underside of your burner looks or how the gas is partially diverted to the spark gap but I drilled a small hole in the casting, inserted a length of copper wire (the gauge used in house wiring), then 'tuned' the flow by clipping part of the wire off and trying it. It might have taken all of 15 minutes to correct the annoying problem.

Gas Hob Flame

Hello
Tha sounds to me like the air mixture nedds to be adjusted on the stove, It's not difficult to do, just rotate it until the flames loose the yellow or your pans will be stained with soot.
The should be by the fittings (convertion fittings), you know?
LP Gas to Natural Gas or Natural Gas to LP Gas.
Hope this help

Smeg gas hob issues.

Ghazwan,

Relax. The problem is in the switch that is activated when you turn the gas on. It has either misaligned or broken. The gas itself is not involved. Generally, raising the top of the burner area will gain access to the switch and valve. Inspect and readjust or replace. Oh, and disconnect the electricity before touching the switch itself.
