To factory reset your Pioneer VSX-D508 audio receiver, you will need to follow these steps:
Turn off the receiver.
Press and hold the "Tone" and "Speaker A" buttons on the front panel of the receiver.
While holding these buttons, turn the power back on.
When the display shows "Initialize," release the buttons.
The receiver will now begin the factory reset process. When it is finished, the display will show "Completed."
Turn the receiver off and then back on again to complete the reset.
Keep in mind that this process will reset all of the settings on your receiver to their default values. You will need to reconfigure any settings that you have changed since you purchased the receiver.

How do i connect an equalizer model gr-408 to a receiver vsx-d508

In any tape loop (MD/Tape 1 or Tape 2 Monitor), OUTs to INs, BUT it will only be useful for stereo analog sources as activation of the loop disables any digital audio inputs.

My pioneer amp vsx d508 reads overload.what to do?

Sounds like a bad amplifier IC.
Unhook all speakers at the back of your pioneer. turn it on and turn down the volume. If it's no longer in overload you have a bad speaker or speaker wires touching somewhere.
If its still in overload it's prlobley a amp IC and will cost between $25-$60 just for the part if you can replace it yourself.

Pioneer vsx-d508

I once inadvertantly set the audio output on my DVD player for a level that I didn't have the capacity for: IE: 7.1. check in your audio setup menu, and adjust the level down...Just a guess :)
