The cord length for the Ryobi BP42 backpack blower is approximately 50 feet. Please note that this information may not be accurate, as the cord length can vary depending on the specific model and the manufacturer. It is always a good idea to consult the owner's manual or the manufacturer's website for specific information about the product.

Testimonial: "thanks for your answer but dont you think 50 feet is a little long."

Ryobi BP42 leaf blower- high speed works fine but when you pull the trigger it stalls! What is the problem? Put in new gas lines, carburetor, gas filter and fresh gas.

Stating the obvious it is running too lean on the mixture screws, you may well need a special tool to do this, but you need to open ( anti clockwise ) the H screw on the carb about 10 minutes on a clock face, this will richen the mixture and aid acceleration.

Does both gas lines in the Ryobi bp42 have to be immersed in the gas tank? or does the one without the filter remain above of the gas?

This is just the return to tank pipe, it does not need to be in the fuel, just in the tank far enough not to leak out the top.

How do I adj carb on ryobi bp42 that is too lean

some carbs have a small screw located in the throttle shaft at the lever
there may be a small plastic block that has to be removed first and then a small screw driver to adjust the screw
probably better to get a repair kit or new carby as that setting very seldom changes

How do I fix the starter cord on the Ryobi BP42?

The process is much more involved than most but you will find some very good step-by-step video instructions on YouTube.

Very few tools are needed but quite a bit of patience will be needed and an area to work in where the parts can be laid out in a systematic way so reassenbly will be easier.

Good luck!

Ryobi BP42 leaf blower will start but will not rev up when I push the trigger - how can I fix this?

Its a lean condition, not getting enough fuel. Check fuel filter and fuel lines. be sure you have fresh fuel. and the carb needs to be adjusted or rebuilt.
