If your Hoover 5kg dryer is not working properly, there are a few potential causes for this problem:

  • The dryer may not be receiving enough power. Make sure the dryer is plugged in and the outlet is functioning properly.
  • The dryer's lint filter may be clogged. Clean the lint filter to ensure it is not blocking the air flow.
  • The dryer's vent may be clogged. Check the vent and clean it if necessary to ensure the air can flow freely.
  • The dryer's heating element may be damaged. If the heating element is not functioning properly, the dryer will not be able to dry clothes effectively.
If you are unsure how to check for and address these potential causes, you may want to consult the user manual for your Hoover dryer or contact the manufacturer for assistance.

Hoover dynamic next tumble dryer beeping, stopping, starting, condensation on the glass. Still getting hot

It sounds like your tumble dryer may be experiencing some kind of issue with its sensor system or control board. The beeping and stopping and starting could indicate a problem with the sensors that detect moisture levels in the dryer, which can cause the machine to think that the clothes are dry when they are not. This can also cause the condensation to build up on the glass.
Another possibility is a problem with the control board, which can cause the dryer to behave erratically or stop functioning properly. If you have already cleaned out the lint and checked all of the mechanical parts, it may be time to call a professional repair service to diagnose and fix the issue. They will have the tools and expertise to identify the root cause of the problem and repair or replace any damaged parts.

My Hoover Apollo Deluxe clothes dryer has stopped working as in the heating doesn't work but all else is fine. Is it worth fixing as it's so old?

Wow, a late 1980 machine! If it is turning and not heating it probably needs a new heating element, IF you can find one. New ones are more energy efficient and look prettier. They also have sensing programs to stop drying when the clothes are dry and my Whirlpool has a water injector to steam refresh clothes or remove creases before you wear.

HOOVER AUTO DRY 5050ED KEEPS STOPPING

hi there, I have repaired many of these dryers. It will be a faulty heater element, most likely. They cost about $40. If you get a tradesman to fit it, they will prob charge you about $200 all up. Maybe its better to buy a new dryer for around $300? Good luck.

Hi, my 5kg hoover tumble dryer is having difficulty operating with a 5kg load. It doesn't spin very well now, is the motor wearing out? Bearings? are there any grease points I can get to? Please advise....

is it belt driven one?....if so maybe the drive belts need adjustment and some lube squirted on the bushes/bearings could help.Make sure you are not overloading it....common problem.

Hoover Apollo Delux not drying properly and takes ages. Outlet air is hot but my wife says it's not drying as well as it used to. The front filter is clean but is there an inlet filter that I'm overlooking...

T^o much lint in duct work, causing moisture and not allowing cloths to dry. Vacuum out duct work in dryer and from dryer to outside of home.

Not getting hot

Sounds like the heating element has broke. If it spins and doesnt produce heat its best to call someone out, or buy a new one. If nothing works, check fuses and connections

Dryer not heating Enough

Ceck the vent hose and vent. Make sure these are clear of obstruction. This is tipical of poor venting. The dryer can`t remove the moist air to dry the clothes properly.
