I have an onn bluetooth boombox that works fine with FM, bluetooth and CD's but as soon as i unplug it to use batteries only the FM and bluetooth works and it can no longer read ny CD's
I assume its the onn 2.0 they arent very specific with the name it's kinda generic to be honest, i'd use bluetooth but the quality is nowhere near as good as a CD compared to spotify, it just gives me an error message that says "no", it can read my disks just fine but when i try to use batteries it stops spinning or even reading the disk

If your onn bluetooth boombox is no longer able to read CDs when using battery power, it is possible that the batteries are not providing enough power to the CD player. CD players require a lot of power to spin the disc and read the data, and using low-quality or weak batteries may not be able to provide enough power for the CD player to function properly.
Here are some steps you can try to fix this problem:
Use high-quality batteries: Make sure that you are using high-quality batteries in your onn bluetooth boombox. Low-quality batteries may not be able to provide enough power for the CD player, and they may also leak or corrode, which can damage the CD player and other components.
Use fresh batteries: If you have been using the same batteries for a long time, they may have lost some of their charge and may not be able to provide enough power for the CD player. Try replacing the batteries with fresh ones to see if that helps.
Use rechargeable batteries: Rechargeable batteries may be able to provide more consistent and reliable power to the CD player than disposable batteries. If you are using disposable batteries, try switching to rechargeable ones and see if that makes a difference.
If these steps do not fix the problem, it is possible that there is a problem with the CD player itself. In this case, you may need to contact onn customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps and help you determine if the CD player needs to be repaired or replaced.

If it is brand new or under a year old then it should be under warranty, if new take it back to the shop or place you purchased it and tell them it's not working. Or you can contact the maker for a replacement or repair.
Remove the batteries, clean the battery terminals with rubbing alcohol and Q-Tips and replace the batteries with new ones, if no! I would suggest you have someone look at it, usually find bad solder connections that need touch up.
power problem with transformer or faulty function selector switch or lock up , but try to see to make sure the selector switch is not on cd , if that don't work then unplug for a little while then try, if that don't work it will have to be tested to determine the problem
