We have a Packard Bell PB300 landline Phone Trying to get Voicemail or set up Voicemail as we have tried most everything I know..? Or if we could get a user Manual ? Appreciate any help. Thx.

in contacts you can set a contact to forward to voicemail on your phone.
Patti I suspect your home phone number is in your contacts list and may have been set to forward all calls to voicemail

They have a crappy website. I couldn't even find a motherboard diagram in the manual. You can determine which is the power pins by trying plugging the power connector in on each set of pins and pushing the power button until it starts. It needs to be plugged in when you try pushing the power button of course.There would be around 10 pins in two rows the power pins would be on the same row. they should be near the edge of the mother board and usually the power button pins are on the row furthest from the edge. I can't guarantee that though

Check and see if you might have a hook up wrong.

Access your voicemail from your mobile cell phone and record a personalised voicemail greeting.
Now call your number from a landline, and when you hear your voicemail greeting prompt you to leave a message, press the required key sequence to access your voicemail from the landline.
The required sequence is dependent on which network/service provider you are using.

I have skype-in and voice mail too, but don't use either. Instead, I go through www.grandcentral.com, which provides my phone number and voicemail services - forwards calls to whatever phones, cell or skype, that I set it to. I won't run down the list of features, but grandcentral is a great solution to so many telephony problems, and it's FREEEEEE!
