Altec Lansing MX6021 Expressionist ULTRA 2.1

My Altec Lansing MX6021 Expressionist ULTRA 2.1 worked perfectly for the past 12 years. It just started to stop working properly and is making only noises like "pluc pluc pluc". This happened a few days ago while my laptop was being reformatted by mistake and the cable to the speakers was still connected... any ideas how to solve this?

Just bought a altec lansing expedition 850 from sam club. It stop playing and wont turn off. Also cant connect with bluetooth. Seems like i got a lemon or is there a fix

Hi Michael, ask, have you allowed the battery to charge properly?
Leave it plugged in, for the term of 12 hours, you would have to have a light that indicates charging status
Then use it, until again it runs out of battery, again leave it 12 hours charging and should, work well
Take the tests and comment
If you can not make it work well, you should have the option to change the product, if it is new, in the store where you bought it
I hope it works properly

If your TV has a variable audio output, yes.

Plug them in directly to a compatible 3.5 mm output or adapt an RCA audio output to 3.5mm with a connector available at any electronics store like radio Shack.

In your TV audio menu select "variable" for the audio out. Otherwise they'll always be at maximum volume.

I would suggest you take it back to the dealer you bought it from and demand a new one.

Just bought expressionist Ultra, when I plug it into my MacBook Pro no sound comes out.

Click on the Apple icon and look at the sound options in the system preferences. If the Mac does not detect your speakers, you may need to install drivers for them. Try doing that at the Altec Lansing site. Also try the tech support at Altec Lansing and at Apple.
