How do i turn down a proscan tv without remote there's only a power button on the i tried everything ...And ideas

I have and proscan tv from 2016 and it's to loud do any one have and idea how to turn it down

No MODEL details and one of my favourite manual sites says they have 400 Proscan manuals.

They ALL have basic controls for On/Off, Volume UP and Down and Channel Up and down. Get behind and at the sides the television and your will see them.

This model has them on the right edge.

Need code for ProScan universal remote
Proscan HDTV Codes = 1000
Proscan TV Codes = 1000, 1008, 1068, 1094, 1108
Proscan DVD Codes = 2118, 2144, 2205, 2319
Proscan VCR Codes = 3000
ON MOST REMOTES:
1. Turn on the TV.
2. Press and hold the TV and SEL buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The button will light.
3. With the button lit, point the remote at the TV and enter the TV's 3, 4, or 5 digit code.
4. Verify by pressing the VOLUME + button. This should turn the TV VOLUME up.
5. Press the TV button to store the 3, 4, or 5 digit code. The button will blink twice to confirm the code is stored.
Your ProscanTV can be controlled with a universal remote and work with Comcast, Dish Network, Direct TV, RCA, etc...

Dead batteries in the remote ? Is it a universal remote correct component selected ? Will the set turn on at the TV power button ? Hard to say with such a vague description. These should give you more information to interject.

Thank you. I did solve my problem with some diligence. The instructions from Verizon were correct. I realized that there are two buttons on the Verizon universal remote that look alike - the "play" arrow and the "fast forward" double arrow. Once I used both of these buttons in the proper sequence, reprogramming the TV remote with the new code worked.

Universal remotes for proscan
remotes.com (1-800-remotes) has a remote for this tv. One for all remotes and radio shack remotes do not have a device code for this tv. Proscan is not made by GE, RCA, Thompson any more. They are marketed by oncorpus.com now.
