Remote control sony amplifer ta-d505

Hello, I have a sony ta-d505 amplifier, I can't lower or increase the volume from the remote control, I don't know if it should work only with the amplifier or I need to connect the other modules... thanks for your answers

Replace the batteries in the remote with fresh ones. Take your smartphone and use the front facing selfie camera to to see if you see a flashing red light when you press a button on the remote with the front of the remote facing the phone. If you can the red light, the remote is working.

Connecting SONY TA-D505 amplifier LBT-D505

Hi David, do you want to connect the ST-D505 tuner to the TA-D505 amplifier?
You just have to connect an audio cable of two RCA (red and white) from the audio output L and R of the tuner ST-D505 to the input of Tuner in the amplifier TA-D505
Remember to connect the FM antennas and the AM Antenna Loop on the ST-D505 tuner
To listen to it, you have to select Tuner on the TA-D505 and enjoy the favorite radio stations

Hola David, quieres conectar el sintonizador ST-D505 al amplificador TA-D505?
Simplemente tienes que conectar un cable de audio de dos RCA(rojo y blanco) desde la salida de audio L y R del sintonizador ST-D505 a la entrada de Tuner en el amplificador TA-D505
Recuerda conectar las antenas de FM y la Loop Antena de AM en el sintonizador ST-D505
Para poder escucharlo, tienes que seleccionar Tuner en el TA-D505 y disfrutaras de las estaciones de radio preferidas

My plasma TV makes vibration sound when volume increases on TV or any remote of DVD, STBs

It is an issue of automatic gain control software for the audio signal. The issue happens if you have a short outage of your cable signal. The TV tries to amplify the audio signal that isn't even there. When the signal returns, the TV software is not programmed correctly to drop the amplification (not automatic gain decrease -just increase). The only solution is a factory reset of the TV.

It's just a big amp with no controls you would change during normal operation. There's no remote. You don't name any source or if you even HAVE one attached. THAT would be a good place to look for missing sound.

Set the BTL/Normal switch on the back to Normal. In fact, any switch or knob with BTL, set it to whatever choice is NOT BTL.

I have 2 questions will my SONY TA-E9000ES preamp work with my SONY STR-DG720 7.1 RECIVER and what SONY ES Amplifer was spefically made to work with the TA-E9000ES WHEN IT WAS ORIGANLY PRODUCED

Amplification does not work

It sounds like a source slecton issue. Try the following and if that does not help I would start with a simple stereo setup and source and work up from there.

The RV-8 is powered on, but there is no audio.
1. Make sure volume level is audible. Volume level can be
increased with the front-panel volume knob or the remote
control VOL �� and �� buttons.
2. Make sure audio has not been muted. The message “MUTE
ON” or “FULL MUTE ON” will appear in the on-screen and
front-panel displays when audio has been muted. To deactivate
mute, press the Mute button or adjust the volume level.
3. Check the INPUT SETUP menu DIGITAL IN and ANALOG IN
parameters to ensure the appropriate audio connector is assigned
to the selected input.
4. Make sure the RV-8 is receiving an audio signal. To do this,
follow the instructions that begin on page 2-29 to open the
STATUS menu for the current input source. Hint: (Use the "STAT2" Button on the remote.)

Sony Ericson K550i sound amplification software

As I have observed getting headset upgrades with sony ericson boosts the volume of the phone. Of course its always business to them but the results of getting one is indeed satisfactory. As of now I also can't find any sound booster. Try to get back to you when I found one.

Zone B of Sony amplifer seems to have stopped sending most of signal

Hi, please have a look at your supply. The voltage might have gone below 21V on your newer models and 42V on your older models. This you will find near the pre-amp. Look for 2 big Cap's and start from there.
