Posted to Television and Video Category. So they do have auto shut off if there is inactivity and no one watching the television.

But 'blu', not even 'Blu' with a capital B??

Helps to have FULL 'make model (what it is)'!!

Is it this phone and posted to the wrong Category??

https://www.google.com/search?q=blu+keeps+shutting+off

If it is new, it is under warranty.

My gateway laptop keeps shutting down. it is brand new

How long have you had it on. If you are not venting the heat out away from the processor, it will shut down to protect it. I suggest either take a small fan and blowing towards the computer. Or they make a chill pads for laptops about thrity dollars.

My dvd player freezes when I view rental/bought movies

Is the player new? If it's a new DVD player and still under warranty, I would return it, exchange it or possibly, consider changing brands: perhaps to a Phillips brand DVD player. After all, the Phillips corporation guarantees its DVD players will play everything, just read the box in which the player's packaged - it's the best bang for your buck. With DVD players being so inexpensive these days, the best option is to buy new. Keep computing Chomskyites.

Tv shuts off

This shutting on and off~On Durabrand TV`S. If your Tv Turns Off after about 1-11/2 minutes after turning it on then you need to replace your batteries in your remote control with BRAND NEW BATTERIES or it will keep doing it. It is a real pain in the behind especially if you dont have brand new batteries handy!
