Power supply. It is 99.9% always the power supply board in a monitor, and almost ALWAYS a $ .79 capacitor.

Just Google for information specific to your monitor, grab a soldering iron, and "have at 'er!".

Just replace the capacitor that smells like fried chicken (or dirty feet). If you don't just SEE it as burned up, you will likely smell it.

My HP LE19101 monitor is pink

Hi.

First, you should check the cables at both ends: PC and monitor. If they are not sufficiently in, or not in completely, this may be the cause.

Then, if not the cable position, look to see if the cable is damaged in any way. If you have a pet who chews cables, and this happened, one of the thin wires may be broken, and that also can cause this.

If not the above, find the menu button on the monitor, and look through the options to find the one which most resembles setting the monitor's color, refresh rate, and the like, and see whether you can find a solution there.

Finally, if none of the above helps, then contact the manufacturer for assistance. Hopefully it is still under warranty and you can get help.

I have problem with hp monitor 1901W display problem how can solve

Hook a spare monitor to the pc to rule out the video graphics card, if okay! the HP monitor has a serious issue, just to be sure! change the video cable from the monitor to the computer, if no change! the monitor will need to be repaced. There is a large circuit board on the back of the LCD it processes the video, colour, brightness and more and is apart of the display.

monitors do not require passwords. if the computer is asking for a password we will need to know the operating system and what is asking for a password. ( windows, linux, bios, etc)
