I need to know more about my uniden bearcat bc340crs. how to program ? can i pick up cell phones?

Go to http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/BC340CRSom.pdf to download a PDF version of the user manual. No, you can't pickup cell phones. Be careful it is illeagle to listen to cell phones or encrypted communications. Todays cell phones are no longer Analog, they are digital and can't be monitored. Have Fun Scanning. You can find more information about scanners and frequencies at www.radioreference.com.

Cant get any channels to pick up

I recommend that you first scan the weather band to make sure that the scanner is working properly. You should be able to pick up one of the NOAA broadcast frequencies just about anywhere in the USA. No reception? Your scanner probably needs professional repair. If you receive weather broadcasts, make sure that you have active frequencies for your area programmed into the scanner. You can find a comprehensive database of active frequencies, and a lot of other useful scanning information by visiting:
www.RadioReference.com

Need the manual for your scanner? You can download and print it, at no cost, here:

HAVE RADIO SHACK DIGITAL TRUNKING SCANNER, WHAT WOULD i LOOK FOR TO PICK UP CELL PHONE FREQUENCIES?

You cannot pick up cell phone conversations on your scanner. Federal law prohibits the manufacture and sale of scanners capable of receiving cellular bands, and modern scanners cannot be modified to include those frequencies Sorry. . . .

How to program and delete uniden bearcat scanner 210 XWneed to c

I can't locate information specific to the 210XW, but hopefully this generic Bearcat programming info will help:

1. Press the MANUAL key to advance to the channel that you wish to reprogram.

2. Enter the new frequency, including decimal point.

3. Press the ENTER or E key.

4. Start over with step one to continue programming channels.

I am looking for a manual for a uniden bearcat scanner 210 xlt. Thanks

Uniden's website don't seem to list a 210XLT. Found a 220XLT manual at Uniden Australia, a 200XLT at Uniden U.S.

Modifiy scanner

Sorry, but by law your scanner is not capable of receiving cellular frequencies, and there is no modification that can enable such reception. Don't feel too disappointed though, as nearly all cellular transmissions are digital now, and that's a mode that your scanner could not decipher even within its frequency coverage.
