The following is based on the assumption that the Imagerunner 2320 is already connected your network. If it isn't, that's the first thing that needs to be done.

It's your computer that needs to be configured. Follow the instructions on page 55 of the User's Manual,

Before Using the Remote Scan Function

You may have to go the Canon website to download the Imagerunner scan driver software for your computer.

When you have that set up, then go to page 76 of the manual ("Basic Remote Scanning) for instructions on scanning operations.

How to do i clear id and password on canon imagerunner 2318

you need to perform a total reset (clear all) from service mode but will erase all configuration made .

in control panel make the next secuence
press additional function
press 2
press 8
press additional function again .
service mode (#SSSW )will appear in the screen if doesn't repeat the procedure
with arrows < > Search for item CLEAR
press ok once
with arrows < > Search for item All
press ok once more
the copier will reset and restart, may take a few minutes . if don't restart by itself, turn off and then on from main switch

this is error code for main motor failure, you can try to reconnect main motor, look for breakege of gears, reconnect dc controller, or the main motor must be replaced or dc controller, or ...

As you can see that there is a lot of things that can be fault, so call service!!!

I would like to Reset/Retrieve Password for Copier Setup Canon, ImageRunner canon ir 2318

If you know the password, then under user mode, i think system sett., must be option for department id management where you can change passwords.

If you dont have pass, you can do clear all under service mode ( * 2 8 * ) if canon changed service mode, like on some series, you can try MENU and #.
