The lens won't go back in. When i turn the camera on, the message saying "Lens error, restart camera" pops up. If you have any idea how to fix this, please answer. Thank you :)

Try removing the battery as described in the video. There are other fixes as well.

That is a shame. Time to have it repaired by a Canon Service Centre then. I am lucky as there is one 5 minutes from where I live. It is worth getting it repaired.

Hi,
please switch modes on your camera and check if the lens goes back in. If not, please use the zoom option to out and check if the lens begins to retract back into it's default position. Otherwise, you can restart the camera 2 or 3 times in a row to attempt to overcome the issue.
