Tv will power on not picture

I would have the power supply checked for the screen and then have the power button checked it may be faulty.

have you tried a new lamp? part# 915P049020

I strongly recommend the original part# as many replacements will not work properly in a Mitsubishi.

Constant Green - TV is Powered On
Constant Red - Lamp Failure
Constant Yellow - DMD temp is very high
Blinking Yellow - Lamp cover is open
1 Red Blink, 6 Yellow Blinks - Color Wheel Failure
3 Red Blinks, 4 Yellow Blinks - Lamp Failure
3 Red Blinks, 6 Yellow Blinks - Exhaust Fan Not Working
3 Red Blinks, 7 Yellow Blinks - DMD Fan is not rotating
5 Red Blinks, 7 Yellow Blinks - Ballast Problem
6 Red Blinks, 6 Yellow Blinks - Lamp Missing, Bad Cable between lamp and ballast

Tv comes of for 10 seconds then shut down with a blinking orange light

Do the self check this set has when it shuts off Menu and input (input is source) buttons on the set both held for five seconds or longer, then release both and look for the power light to blink a two digit error code like one blink, two blinks and pause then repeat it several times, let me know what error code you find.

Replaced lamp but lamp light still blinks orange

I have a wd-57731 The lamp light blinked orange. i replaced the lamp turned the tv on and the timer blinks green for one minute and then the lamp light blinks orange again. It won't turn on. Can you suggest anything?

Blinking orange lamp light

if the lamp light is flashing and the tv won't come on you need to replace the lamp. check your owners manual for how to do it or call mitsubishi customer service

Projector screen turns off after 10-20 seconds

Is the projector receiving a source signal? if not it will power itself down after whatever time you have it set to do so when no signal is present.
