This nearly always happens because an SD card is used that is FAR too BIG for the unit. 1 GB or LESS it says in the manual.

G Supported Memory Cards:
SD memory cards, optional CASIO song data cards*
G Supported SD Cards:
1 GB or less (Cards with capacity greater than 1 GB are
not supported.)

G Maximum Number of Importable Songs: Up to 1,000
• The actual number of songs that can be imported
depends on the size of each file. The actual number will
be less than 1,000 when individual song files are large.
G Supported Data:
SMF Format 0, CASIO Original Format CM2

Manual at the page 54 (E52).

E-48
Using a Memory Card
You can use the procedure below to play back a user
song (page E-24) stored on
a memory card without
loading the song into Digital Piano memory.
Memory Card Folders
Formatting a memory card on the Digital Piano will
automatically create the four
folders shown below. You
put playback song data into any one of the folders. You
can use the four folders to group your music data by
family member, genre, or some other categories. Use
buttons
through (folders) to select a folder.
1.Store the music data you want to play back in
one of the memory card folders.
2.Insert the memory ca
rd into the Digital
Piano's memory card slot.
3.Press the (CARD/INTERNAL) button.
4.Press one of the folder selection buttons (
through
) to select the card folder you want.
This will display the song number and song
name of the first song in the folder you
selected.
5.Use the (w,q) buttons to select the
song you want.
6.Press the (PLAY/STOP
) button.This will start playback.
•Each press of (PLAY/STOP) starts and stops
playback.
•Fast forward, fast reverse,
tempo changes, and other
operations are the same as
those during playback of a
user song in Digital Pian
o memory. For details, see
"Playing Back a Specific
Music Library Song" (page
E-24).
7.
To quit memory card data playback, press the
(CARD/INTERNAL) button.

How to upload music to Casio CTK-4000 Keyboard

If your computer has a SD card reader, you can use a 2GB or smaller SD card. Format the SD card using the CTK4000. Drop tje music into "MUSICDAT" folder.
If you connect to PC using a USB cable, you need to download DATA MANAGER from Casio website. DATA MANAGER allows you to copy files from computer to keyboard.

I have the a Casio Keyboard that has an SD slot, but whenever i put songs on my SD card & then plug it into the keyboard, it says that there is an ERROR . What am i supposed to do . Step by Step . to...

Does it say ERR NO FILE? If so, then read on. The reason you have this error is because you don't have a folder on your sd card named MUSICDAT. Solution:
  1. Insert your sd card into computer
  2. Make folder called MUSICDAT.
  3. Then, transfer all files inside the folder (make sure your songs are in MIDI format).
  4. Safely remove your sd card.
  5. You're ready to put it in you Casio Keyboard!
If you still get the error, take time to read you manual. Read the "using the sd card" part. The folder name might be different for your Casio Keyboard (because mine's a CTK-5000).
...and IF you still get the error, perhaps the songs you meant in your question are MP3 songs (like the ones you play on the iPod)? Then, that's a different topic... :)
Well then, good luck!

How to solve card error when i put in an 4 gb sd card on my casio exilim ex-s600

There are no 4GB SD cards. Any card that size is actually a SDHC (High Capacity) card. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with the SDHC cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

I took my micro sd card out of my old voyager, with songs and pictures and put it in my orange boulder. Well some pictures show up and over half just show a torn picture. What does this mean? Can anyone...

If your saying you put it in another phone, usually you need to
save the data that is on the card to your pc, then when you put it in another phone, you have to format the card with that phone then take it out
and put the pics or data back on and your all set.

Do Not format a sd card with windows, if you want to remove anything just delete it, do not format with windows.

Hopefully you have the card holder, regular size sd card that the micro goes into, and you have a card slot on your pc or a card reader so you can swap stuff back and forth from card to pc.
