from what I'm seeing for the dishwasher, an E1 error means that the door is not properly closed. So, please look at the door of the machine to make sure that nothing is broken or that the dishwasher isn't too full. Thank you.

In order to find the availability of spare parts for your model of dishwasher it would be helpful if you can provide the Product Code from the label on the front of the main unit.
will need a description of the problem. Some of the common fault codes are F1, F2 and F3. All these fault codes stop the dishwasher and will not go away until the cause is removed. Please indicate the problem you are experiencing.
Your original problem, F4, was the machine trying to tell you that the heater plate was not working. When you turned the drawer up-side down, you may have damaged the wiring harness. If you do get a technician, call a fisher paykel authorized servicer, not an independent, and make sure you tell him about the F4 problem. A new problem has been introduced by the cleaning procedure, and both issues will need to be resolved.
