Kenwood A58 amplifier spectrum issue

Hello friends, I own a Kenwood A58 amplifier. The spectrum analyzer works fine at one pattern and responds to music, however, at frequency peak level 400, the array keeps glowing even when no music is playing. Further, when I change the display pattern using character key, the sound starts cracking. Please can anyone help me resolve the issue??

How do I check the audio amplifier

That is a subjective question. I would take the amplifier to my lab, connect 13.8 Volts DC then connect dummy loads, a scope, a signal generator, harmonic analizer , spectrum analyzer etc and then take it through its paces to be sure it meets puglished factory specifications.

If all are in 12 o'clock position they are "flat" (nothing has been added or subtracted foam input signal) If you only have bass & treble, yes adjusting will affect "mids" but Mids change can go both ways dependent on increase or decrease of Bass and /or treble. By increasing bass you will pull some mids up also. By increasing treble you'll subtract some mids.

Kenwood kac-7204 1000w amp with 12 in sub what size wires nedded to use

bigger the better my friend. Look at your Peak RMS output, and how long of wire you need. Then you could make the judgment call on how thick or what gauge you need. (2 involved factors power + distance). id say 10 gauge and you would be fine.

That system came with the kt591 tunner in a bundle which consisted of what you call the Kenwood Spectrum 700 rack system, you had to plug the tuner into the wall and then plug the amp into the tunner if you didnt , when you turn the amp on you just get a relay clicking noise and nothing turned on.
