I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding the color codes for your GE dryer. Here are the typical color codes for a GE dryer timer switch:

  • Black wire: This is typically the power wire and connects to the hot terminal of the timer switch.
  • White wire: This is typically the neutral wire and connects to the neutral terminal of the timer switch.
  • Blue wire: This is typically the wire that controls the dryer's cycle, such as timed dry or automatic dry.
  • Red wire: This wire is typically used for the dryer's buzzer or other signaling device.
However, it's important to note that the color codes may vary depending on the specific model and manufacturer of the timer switch. I would recommend double-checking the wiring diagram for your specific model, which should be located on the back of the dryer or in the owner's manual. If you're still having trouble, it may be best to consult a professional electrician or appliance repair technician.

Can i repair the timer shaft on a GE dryer

Hey Linda, thank you for the question. If you are talking about the timer of your GE dryer, if it is stop working completely you may need to replace it with the right part number. For me to locate the compatible timer of your dryer I need model number of your dryer.
You can not repair the timer of your dryer but you can clean the carbon or any dust particles come in between the knob and timer switch causing the timer to behave abnormally. You can get access by removing the top cover using a putty knife. Clean or clear the terminals where the harness connect to the switch. I hope this will clear the issue. Thanks again for the great question.

Need a color coded wiring diagram of the timer M460-G for the GE electric dryer DSXH43EAOWW

All GE dryers have a wiring diagram inside the control panel on the left side as you stand in front of the dryer. It should show the wiring in black but with color coding listed for each wire. If yours is missing I will try to locate a copy. SearsPartsDirect use to have some wiring diagrams on their parts site.

How do I wire a double pole double throw 240 volt ge intermatic timer to 4 240 volt plugs?

You posted under GE timer, but added the brand name Intermatic.
GE and Intermatic timers are totally different.
Wiring below is for GE and will not apply to Intermatic.

Step 1) lets cover basic GE timer wiring for 240Volt load.
Be sure to set dip switches BEFORE applying power.
Step by step illustrations show on following link.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-GE-15207-timer.html

Step 2) Load wires exit GE timer.
There are two Hot wires and 1 bare ground wire.

Step 3) Wire the outlets: You have 4 240Volt plugs.
This could mean a receptacle-type outlet like a clothes dryer outlet or air conditioner outlet.
Or it could be a twist-lock receptacle or extension-cord-type stage plug.
In all cases, look at screw color on device.
Connect Hot wires to brass colored screws.
Connect ground wire to green screw.

Step 4) Calculate total Load
Manual appears below: Look at Normally Open contacts. These contacts turn ON when timer turns ON.
http://waterheatertimer.org/15087-15207-56922-Manual-eng.pdf
Total load on all 4 plugs cannot exceed 2 HP
Generally, a 30 amp timer is rated for max 24 Amps or 6 amps per each of the 4 plugs.
Volts x amps = watts.
Take total watts and divide by 240Volts to get amps.

Hello, My GE Dryer, Model M460-G timer won't shut off

Sounds like you have a faulty timer switch, check with your local supply house and get the same type of switch.
When you go to replace the timer switch, unplug the dryer, then remove one wire at a time. This will prevent wiring mix-ups.
Good luck,
I hope this helps

Please I need the colors and in which number I need to put them back at the timer

If you look on the back of the timer,...if it is an older type timer/dryer which it sounds like it is because most modern timers have plug in type wirering harnesses,...you will see,(you might need magnifying glass), that each point to connect a wire at will have a y, (yellow), g, (green), blu, (for blue), R, (Red), V, (violet) and blk or bk for black and so on and so for stamped on the time next to the spade the wire connects to...write back with a model number if that doesn't help...
