How do I replace my Fixya account avatar, I don't seem to be able to find a link within the menu's that allows me to drag in my own ones etc which is common on most sites I belong to?

Just go to your account and click on the upload icon and your pictures will appear and chose one.

...assuming you want to delete your fixya account, I've read (from previous inquiries) that you can delete your avatar, posts, etc...but that you can't delete your account without emailing customer support ([email protected]) and request the account be deleted.

Change my fixya password
Hi Tom,

To change your Fixya password you will need to do the following.

  • Sign in to your Fixya account.
  • Click on your avatar in the top right corner of any page.
  • Click on My Account link that appears in the dropdown.
  • On the My Account Page, scroll down to the My Settings section.
  • Just below the avatar selection and email address fields, there is a button to change your password. (see image below.)
  • Click the button and then enter your current password and the updated password and verify.

How do i delete my smallworlds account?
There still isn't a way you delete your account. I went into my account profile and changed my e-mail address to a fake one. I also deleted my avatar. Hopefully that made my account somewhat inactive. I can't sign in anymore which is good.

There is also a site called delete.me which is great. It directs you to the site links to deactivate your account for the sites that won't let you delete directly. Smallworlds is not one of the featured sites yet, but I think you can submit it to the site. There's also another site you can delete through but Fixya won't let me use the name of the site because there's a word in it they don't allow to be used. let's just say it's AK.Com.

How do I see which questions I have answered on Fixya?
You can also click on your avatar and click the My Account link. On the My Account page scroll down to the "Problems I've Posted" section to see all the problems you've posted.

You want a second account, for yourself? If your Skype logs in automatically when you start it... See the menu in top of the window? Go to Skype and select Sign Out. Then you will see the Skype welcome screen and the option to create a new account. Does that answer your question?

Well, for now I would only give you instructions about how to close your account. Yes, it's possible that there's fraud or scam or phishing, but since I don't know what exactly is with your account, I can't verify. Please follow the instructions (below) to close your account.
1. Log-in to your account (to your account you would like to close)
2. Click "Profile" (When you click the "Profile", you'll see several drop down lists of menu, ignore them and just click the "Profile")
3. When the profile page is opened, you'll see several sections, but you may not see the "Close Account" link instead you'll see several options to change your account name, password etc.. Look on the left hand side of the page and click "My Account Settings", the top most section is "Account Type" and on the extreme right, you'll see "Close Account", click it and follow the onscreen instructions to close your account.
If you need further help, let me know.
*Warning: You can't undo this once it confirmed.

1. Sign in to your FixYa account
2. Click your Avatar on the top right and select "My Account"
3. Click on "My Settings" tab
4. Select one of the images presented or upload your own photo by clicking "Upload"

How do I change my profile picture on THIS website
Hi ells1231, First, make sure that you are signed into your FixYa account. Click on "My Profile" on the upper right. Click on the "Edit Profile" link under the default avatar. Click on the "My Expertise" link on the left of the page (not the one in the upper right!) Scroll down to where it says "Upload your Profile Picture". There you can upload an avatar. Files must be 50kb or smaller, and either JPG, GIF, or PNG format. When you are done, click "Save Changes" at the bottom.
