I have a samsung refrigerator error code 39 e, 40 e and 22 e what does this mean and what do I do about it?

39E is a bad ice maker as you know. Try to heat up the ice maker with a hair dryer in case ice has jammed the ice maker from rotating properly. If it still doesn't work, the entire ice maker would need to be replaced I'm sorry to say. '

So error 40E means your ice maker fan isn't running properly and 24E means your freezer isn't defrosting properly. Both items are inside the freezer behind the back wall. You'll need to pull everything out of the freezer and remove the entire back wall inside the freezer. Thaw any ice or frost built up you see with a hairdryer. Re-install everything and then on the dispenser press and hold the upper right and upper left buttons to reset the error codes. If everything resets, then great. If it won't reset, then you need to replace your defrost temperature sensor clipped onto the top of the silver coils behind the back panel you removed, and you also need to replace the ice fan motor.

My Samsung Refrigerator, RF263BEAESR/AA ice maker has white ice surrounding the ice maker and won't dispense the ice. The long narrow tray in the refrigerator is locked and I can't pull it forward.

Before finally curing all the problems I've had with MY Samsung Ice Master ice maker I experienced the same problem you have just described. For a number of different reasons water has leaked down to the bottom of the icemaker compartment and actually frozen the ice tray to the bottom of the housing. In my case, a number of sharp blows from the edge of my hand was able to break the seal that ice has made between the tray and the compartment. Sharp blows, not brute force. After removing the ice tray you need to wipe out the remaining ice with a wash cloth soaked in hot water. Until the available kit is installed this problem will re-occurr with great regularity..

Ice maker ice jam

Not a whole lot you can do but to keep the frost down.
If you are able to move the items in the freezer to another freezer and let it sit overnight, all your problems will melt away....
Until a couple months later when it builds up

Make sure to double check your freezer is sealing correctly, bad gasket causes moisture to be sucked in.

Here are some basic ways to slow the buildup

How to remove DA97-12317A ice maker from samsung RF263BEAESR? I've unplugged the harness, and depressed the clip but it won't pull forwards. Do you have to pull hard?

The instructions above are wrong. The ice maker will not come out as instructed. There is a tube coming out of the back of the refregerator that passes in and around the bottom of the ice maker that won't let it slide out. If you could take the bottom panel off the ice maker, you will see the tube. To replace the ice maker, the entire enclosure may have to be removed.

Not making ice

Check the ice maker temperature sensor. Mine (model RF265AABP) falls out easily and sometimes the wires break, causing the digital readout to read 88 88 and flash.

My Samsung RF265ABWP French door refrigerator has suddenly stopped making ice. I hear the old familiar noise it used to make just before I heard the ice drop in the bucket, only no ice drops. It sounds...

Is it getting water? If not, Most likely water valve is faulty and not letting water through, or feed tube through back freezer wall to ice maker is frozen which would be caused by dripping valve. It's either the valve or the ice maker not sending voltage to valve.

ICE MAKER FREEEZES

my suggestion is unplug frige. for a couple of days! yes you will have to vacate everything. let all ice melt.. have mops and buckets ready for a poss. flood due to so much ice buildup. see if you can disconnect any hoses after thaw and blow in them. make sure fridge is disconnected!. look for any cracked plastic since these can become brittle in time and use 100 percent silicone to seal.
hope for the best!
