My nintendo ds lite powers up green light comes on but screens stay black

It sounds like the screens connection to the board is messed up in some way. Maybe something came loose and you could fix it by opening it up. Most likely though there is nothing you can really do. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Screens stay black, power lite is solid green

does it make the boot up sound? if so its a fault with your screen..can replace screens for £7.50 off ebay. try re- inserting ribbon cable for screen b4 buying new screen tho (could be that). if you can't hear bootup sound when powering up then something else wrong. maybe F1 or F2 fuse blown (test with a multi meter) look on youtube for tutorial

BLAnk screen

well if its under warrenty I would suggest sending it into nintendo if not and you are getting black screens either the connector inside the ds itself has become loose or both the screens are no good anymore.

its pretty tight working inside a ds lite and over time the wires get pinched more and more if the base of the shell is squeezed too much cause breaks in the only a few wires placed in the base of the shell.(under the bottom screen)

I would suggest anyone with this issue to contact nintendo or find a person who can fix them to run a few more test since I dont have the unit I am unable to be 100% sure of the issue at hand.
