Question about PANDIGITAL Cameras

Pandigital frame . tried to connect with pc and usb cable. The pc does not see the photo frame. The only way it works is with a usb stick.

It worked before . I was able to put pictures on the internal memory. Does not work now. What level windows is supported?

Pandigital digital Picture frame PC Recognizing Tip
Hi I just got this frame for Xmas ,,, I tried it my 1st Time it worked perfectly ... I then had other pics I wanted to have on my new frame ,,, Unfortunately I had no success getting the pc to recognize the frame ,, after a quick internet search I found out that I wasn't the only one this was happening to ...



Long story short ,, I figured it out ,, just make sure the power supply is plugged in when you are connecting the frame to a pc via usb ..

How do I get"connected to computer "off screen on my 8" Aluratek digital frame?
pluging in a usb cable from a computer that allready has the device driver loaded , should send the photo frame into accept mode automaticly , then its all done via the connected computer , nothing on photo screen should matter , till usb cable is disconnected , sorry you cant leave cable connected .

Pics from Computer to Pandigital
If you use iPhoto to put photos on the frame, you'll end up with a bunch of extra files on the frame that say "Unsupported Format". This is file management data added by iPhoto.

When you connect the frame via the USB cable, it should just appear as an icon labeled "Pandigital" on the desktop. You can just drag and drop your photos onto this icon.

My pandigital photo frame doesn't work at all. When plugged in the screen says System Start. That's all I get.
This frame cannot initialize; this is an internal memory issue. Connect the frame to your computer with the USB cable and to the AC outlet. Now turn it on. Under Computer or My Computer, look for a Pandigital (X:) drive.

If you see that drive, right click on it and select Format.
Choose FAT or FAT32 as the file system, check Quick Format, then Start.
Once it finishes, unhook the frame and restart it.

If you do not see that drive, your frame is toast. Grab your receipt and return to the store or call the company.

Pc connection established remote is temporarily inoperative
this is not a problem!;this always appears when you connect the USB cable to the PC and the frame.What you do next is ignore the frame and concentrate on the pc: go to the file where you have your pics stored, RIGHT click on the folder or pics you want to load and hit SEND TO ,in this case send to the Pandigital drive connection .Play with this with a couple of photos,check your frame to make sure they loaded and if ok then load all you want!

Usb photos not showing in the frame
if there is a cable to connect the frame to the comp put the carf in the frame and hook up the frame install picts through the frame. that is how most of them do it. it converts the pic to a different format easier for it to read. it wont just read drag and drop jpg files. it also formats the card to it own specs.

USB Connection
Hi Amanda and Lisa. Are you making sure the picture frame is off BEFORE you plug it in to your computers? Make sure you:
Turn it off before pluging it in, then plug in the USB cable. Now you can turn on the picture frame and you should see the frame's memory and any SD cards you have plugged into it in the removable drives section.

My 8" pandigital picture frame is supposed to have 1 GB of memory, but it is gone. Can it be replaced? I don't know why it now says that the available internal memory:0M. It is supposed to have 1GB. The pictures that were in the memory were deleted and now it says there is no internal memory. It will show pictures from a thumb drive or SD card. I also tried resetting the frame and it still said there was no available internal memory.
