Drill bit stuckI've got a ramset 18v hammer drill/ driver and can't seem to remove the drill bit. I've tried looking up for trouble shooting but haven't had any luck on the specific drill?

grab the bottom part of the spinning part of the drill nearest the drill's motor.
then
grab the spinning shaft bit nearest the drill bit
pull them apart slightly
when the two parts are pushed together thay lock the chuck
I own a ryobi hammer drill that does the same thing
Not all bits for hammer drills are the same as the slots in the sides of the shanks are different between makes . There is a standard between hilti and ramset drill bits but other makers have different ideas Check out the shanks of your drill bits and look for the slot that holds in the bit.
You may have inadvertently hit the
hammer/drill switch and it is floating
the middle between functions.
This selector switch has a symbol
showing a drill bit on one side and a
symbol of the hammer on the other.
Engage the switch bacK into the
drill position
