Removing the motor from a Toledo meat slicer involves several steps. First, unplug the slicer to ensure safety. Locate the motor, typically positioned near the base. I have replacement suction cup feet for most, if not all, Rival and Magic Hostess kitchen equipment so equipped. The replacements I offer are black, not gray as originals, newly manufactured and work very well. They can also be used on Rival and Magic Hostess kitchen equipment that used a foam foot, rather than suction cup and improve non-skid safety. mailto:[email protected]
The Magic Hostess slicers are the same as Rival 1101 series slicers. What you probably are missing is a friction reducing washer that mounts between the blade and blade head (housing). I offer reproductions of this part, photo attached; these reproduction washers are a different color but functionally equivalent to original. If interested, contact me at [email protected]
