it won't record dvd's its only a dvd player. only the vcr records
if the vhs movies your trying to record are movies like star wars and stuff like that it's copy protected and no worth the trouble. if it's home movies or something you recorded from tv they might work. if you get a dvd recorder/vhs player.
I'm glad to provide the instructions to transfer video from VHS Tape to DVD. You may purchase a DVD Recorder and connect the VCR to its A/V input to record the videos directly to a DVD. There are VCR/DVD Combo Recorders available where you can dub from VHS to DVD without using another VCR.
Alternately, if you have an A/V interface in your Computer, you can connect a VCR to the Computer and capture videos using Windows Movie Maker or any other video capture software. Once you transfer the video to the computer, you can burn the videos to a DVD using the DVD burner in the Computer.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require further assistance or any clarifications.
as i recall VHS cassettes have a hole on front (where is the label with name of movie ) which disables re-recording over original movie.
if that isn`t the problem, you can try with connecting your VCR to PC inputing audio and video cable to PC. requirements for this recording from VCR to PC is that PC has graphic card with audio-video input.
Maybe it is due to your awful video convert tool. I recommend you have a trial of Video Download Studio, The program can help you convert video to audio with high quality and fast speed. Have a look from http://www.downloadvideos-convert.com/download-videos-music Hope it can help you more or less!
Depending on the procedure you may be pressing the record button instead of the D.Dubbing or Dubbing button. When recording from VHS to DVD you must first, load the blank DVD and VHS home movies, then play the VHS movies, then PAUSE the VHS movie when you want to START recording... then the only the you have to do is pressing the D.Dubbing button or the Dubbing button. If your VHS tapes starts to play after the Dubbing button is pressed you have been successful in Dubbing.
If you burnt a DVD + , try getting a DVD - and burn to that or vice versa. Some DVD players play both the DVD + and the DVD -. Other DVD players will only play one of the two types of discsl
I burn all mine to a DVD +.
check what mode the cd video is you may have to burn another one with the correct mode for pc Right click program on cd go to properties check video name plus what is after the . ie home.wmv as you need to burn cds with a general code Try VLC Media Player on computer this plays all my video media
Insert the VHS tape. Do not press play. Insert a DVD RAM or DVD-R into the DVD side and press and hold DVD DUBBING, it should start playing the VHS immediately while recording on the DVD side.
