Kitchenaid KDPM604KPS dishwasher stops minutes into cycle
We just finished installing a brand new Kitchenaid KDPM604KPS dishwasher yesterday. After starting a dishwasher cycle, the dishwasher will run for a few minutes before suddenly stopping.
The dishwasher will beep a couple times, then the time will suddenly change to 0:02, the dishwasher drains, and the dishwasher shuts off.
After the dishwasher finishes draining, it will periodically beep 3 times and either the Hi Temp Wash or the ProDry button will blink. On the last time this happens, the screen displayed 2H.
This happens consistently despite filling and draining properly. Thanks!

I couldn’t find any error code 2H but I did find an error code H2O. This code means insufficient water pressure. If the display reads 2H, it usually means the start delay function is turned on. The dishwasher will turn on in 2 hours if door is closed. This dishwasher is advanced. To understand all operations you should read the user guide or manual.

Press the Cancel/ Drain cycle for a few seconds. The dishwasher should reset itself. See if this makes any difference. Also first turn the mains power to dishwasher off and back on.
Put the tablet in the bottom of the washer ,do a wash cycle,if the tablet is used up the washer is not releasing the tablet till the end of the wash, if the tablet is still there the water is too hard or the tablet is faulty.
Check your manual. Some dishwashers actually do leave water in them after the final drain cycle. It has to do with the type of seals they use. Some will leak the very first time they are used but not after that. The seals in these types must remain wet. If this isn''t the issue, wait about 5 minutes fir the timer to finish. Sometimes there is quite a lag at the last cycle. If all else fails, call the customer service number in the manual.
i just installed a used dishwasher. It filled up with water then stopped. The lights are still on as far as the cycles but nothing is happening. I did the factory diagnostic test and the service diagnostic test, not sure how long each test was supposed to take because after it seemed to go through each cycle by the lights on the front nothing else happened. I waited over 30minutes because I didn't know how long this was going to take. When all the lights on the front went out I tried to turn it on like to run a wash cycle and nothing is happening and the bottom is still full on water. HELP!!
if there is no water in the bottom of machine, see if your water supply is turned off, or check for a loose wire on the water valve, lastly, check if the float is stuck in the up position. That is the overflow protector. If the machine 'thinks' the water level is too high, it will not allow more water into it. The float is in the front left corner, usually under a raised cover, remove that cover and manually raise and lower the float to allow free movement. It should be normally in the down position. Good luck.
