Power light on my printer wont stop flashing, causing it not to print

Is it possible that it's out of ink or has a paper jam? On certain printers, the power light blinking is an indicator of a problem - no ink, low ink or paper jam. What kind of printer is it?

Hello there wondering if you can help me My power light on my Canon ip2000 keeps flashing green/orange and the print queue stops and nothing is happening. I've powered the printer on/off Also have...

Usually means theres a paper jam or your out of paper or some problem is occurring. While that blinking orange is blinking press and hold it for about 5 seconds the printer should stop blinking orange and continue with the print. Also open up your printer to see if there are any documents that are in the print queue. Probably can delete those. Thats my guess as to whats wrong with the printer. Used to have one of those. Nice little printer remember 12 blacks for 12 bucks.

Paper sensor, I think

check the cable first..and do a test page, if you can without the printer connected to anything.

then, if that all works, we can look elsewhere, no?
