My Grinding S350 is not booting ever since I tried the reset button while the batteries are inside and an external 6volts was plugged in by mistake. How to fix this problem , please. Thanks.

please replace the batteries first. If that does not work, please attempt to factory reset your device ( can reference manual). Thank you.

Laptop reset after BSOD:
The 'Blue screen of *****' or in your Mecer's case "Blank Screen of *****' is usually casused by a sofware / hardware error, but can just be that RAM has become corrupted, or a conflict has caused a system lockup.
Also called a 'crash'.
If this is the issue, it may be that there are not enough available resorces to run your display drivers.
Try this hack:
[1] Switch off laptop, if on.
[2] Remove external power.
[3] Remove battery.
[4] Press POWER button for about 0.5 minutes to 1 minute.
[5] Re-insert battery.
[6] Re-plug external power pack.
[7] Try boot up.

My laptop will not boot up, there is no display only the 2 green lights on the front. I hear the hard drive click a couple of times. I've removed and tested ram. I've tried different battery and power...
the hard drive shouldn't be clicking. try just the power supply. look inside to see if there is a reset switch. you can removed the internal battery as long as it isn't soldered to the mainboard and let it sit for half an hour to discharge it completely. if none of that works you may need a new motherboard.

Toshiba Laptop Dead no bios
Most of laptops batteries have electronics inside them wich test and transmit info about the battery itself. Maybe the fail is there and not in the laptop. Try with another battery befor dumping it.

My Grundig S350 won't turn on. I have replaced the batteries and hit the reset button and still nothing. Please help.
Its Deluxe Version the S350 DL can use two types of batteries: D-size or AA. Inside the battery compartment there is a switch to select the size in use. If you use the AA sie batteries, they will not hold in their locations unless you lower a flap and secure them.
Have you tried to power the radio with the adaptor?

Its microcomputer chip may have hanged. Just make a reset ans see whether it helps you. It must help you, i"m sure. To reset it;

S350 incorporates with micro computer chip (the component that

controls how the radio operates). If the radio has been subjected to

abnormal environmental conditions, the micro computer chip may
hang up and the following symptoms may appear

The display shows nothing and the radio cannot be turned on by
pressing POWER & SLEEP button.

The display shows random characters or does not work properly

although the radio can receive stations normally.

In these cases, you might need to reset the radio. To reset the

S350, unplug the external adaptor (if one is being used) and

remove the batteries from the battery compartment. Insert a

pointed object, such as straightened paper clip, into the RESET hole

on the right, front side of the radio and gently press and release the

button inside the hole. Then plug in the AC adaptor or reinstall the
batteries
OK.

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

I purchase a Grundig S 350 and purchased the sangean Antenna-60, I don't know where the antenna attaches???
The Sangean ANT-60 comes with an adapter that lets you clamp onto the existing antenna on your S350. Using this adapter and the clip provided will be a good enough connection. The S350 does not come with an external antenna connection port for a 1/8" mini plug antenna so this necessitates the use of that adapter and clip.

Most likely, either the power jack inside the machine (jack itself or solder joints) or the plug on the power cord was damaged; obviously the plug is only a few dollars to replace, the jack also only a few dollars, but much more labor intensive. My experience tells me it's probably the power jack. If you have any way to externally charge your battery and, using it, find the machine operational, that pins it down pretty well. When the external supply is used, the internal battery is supposed to be switched out of the load circuit and into charging mode.

Often simply disconnecting the power cable, holding power button for 15 seconds, release power button, plug back in will work

Otherwise remove CMOS battery and perform above operation

Rockwell VersacutRK3440K. Motor runs. Why doesn't blade turn? I have disassembled the saw, trying to get to the shear pin. I however cannot separate the Gear housing to get to the shear pin .How do you separate the gear housing?.
