I have a question about my Sony Receiver STR-DH190 ?
I can't fit my regular size connector to fit into the head phone Jack on the front of the receiver. Is there an adapter that would fit I am not familiar with the sizes for example 9mm for the headphone jacks. Sony headphone model is MDR-ZX110.

Headphone jack is an output not input jack. Your going to need a cord to go from your headphone jack(output) of your phone to audio input on your receiver. The cord has a mini stereo plug to the phone and RCA plugs of left and right to your receiver auxiliary input. Good luck..
Dont do it.
The jack on your phone is an Output. So is the headphone jack.
You need a stereo mini plug to (2) RCA type male plugs.
Then plug that into the AUX or CD jacks in the rear of the Sony
Use analog audio cable with jack connector on one side (to the iPod) and 2 RCA connectors (white/red) on the other end for the analog inputs of receiver.
Hook up Composite / Component Monitor Out wire from receiver to TV video input because receiver will not change analog input into HDMI You need to connect receiver and TV through analog video terminals as above. Actually you are expecting that receiver will convert DVD player and Xbox analog video input into digital HDMI signal for TV and This is incorrect.
