I have a fisher & paykel saffron oven and the outside ring on the dual element is not working and I have replaced the simmer states , what could the problem be ?

Fisher and Paykel ceramic muti function saffron stove , the dual inner element is working but not the outer ..what could the problem be ?

goto fisherpaykel.com and find the manuals available parts would be best and they may use several ways of regulating the supply . Or an element has blown visual check when cooker is ISOLATED FROM THE MAINS SUPPLY. There usually is a Grey colour round the hole in an heating element, if not sometime a black ring as if too much heat in one spot, test with a continuity tester it should have conduction.

check both oven elements are working if ok check thermostat probe inside oven isnot close to or touching any of the elements if all os ok then replace thermostat

No controller. The switch for each element (called a simmerstat) is what controls the heat. It is a common fault and will be fixed if you instal new simmerstat for each faulty element.
