I have been looking around Google for original Toshiba A110-233 drivers/application disc
I also telephoned Toshiba UK for technical support, unfortunately there wasn't any technical support for laptops made before 2017 there's very little information around about the system
I just wanted to know if the Toshiba Satellite A100/ A105 Recovery and Applications / Drives DVD Windows XP .Would they be fully compatible to operate the Toshiba A110-233 ?
I'm hoping to run my old Akai s3000xl sampler through pcmcia slot through SCSI leads
Many thanks for your assistance

It is now 18 years old. There are sites like Driver Guide that will scan for hardware and drivers and update if they are available. Windows 10 has a huge library of drivers, so you should be able to force Win 10 to find them.
1) Right-click the specific application and click Properties. 2) Go to Compatibility tab, then check the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for: 3) Select the version of Windows to use for your application in the drop-down box. 4) Click Apply and OK to save the change.

reinstal the application from the motherboard disc of your system..................... if you donot have the motherboard disc then go through http://www.toshiba-india.com/laptop/DriversDetails.aspx this site and download the audio application by using your system code/model number.............
If its not detected in device manager and your laptop has HDD recovery
1 type toshiba application installer in the start search box, press enter
2 in that program choose "install application and drivers", click next
3 it will go to a window where you have the list of all the drivers
4 look for the CDDVD drive, click it to highlight
5 click install
afterwards if its still not detected you probably have a hardware issue and probably the drive itself needs to be replaced
Under Programs in the My Toshiba folder there is a Toshiba Application Installer. Open(click) that and then re-install the HDD/SDD Alert Monitor. My Toshiba did the same thing and that's how I fixed it.
Did you create any partitions on the HDD?
Obviously the HDD or some partitions on the HDD are corrupt.
In my opinion, you should firstly try to format the whole HDD and delete also whole partitions.
Then insert the recovery CD and try to install the Toshiba image
I could not find a application support disk, but I assume you are looking for the drivers. Your laptop is made by Medion. I have the same model . I found the sound card drivers here. http://www1.medion.de/downloads/download.pl?id=5561&type=treiber&filename=skwim2140_2170vst.exe&lang=uk
For the rest I used software called “Everest Home Addition” to get the model numbers of each device and googled the drivers for each one.
For specific models with different chipset drivers, you can get the sound driver & pretty much everything else on support.toshiba.com. If you can't connect to the Internet, "Tecra, Portege", & sometimes "Qosmio" models came with a built-in HDD recovery, meaning you need to create your recovery disk by running the "Recovery Disk Creator". An application to create your recovery disk. A shortcut is created on the desktop by default, if you cannot find it there, try looking at "C:\Program Files\Toshiba\Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator" & run the "exe" file, it should give you a menu to create one. After creating the disk, you can use that disc to install the drivers for all Toshiba pre-installed devices/softwares on that machine. For Satellite models, the disc should come with the laptop when you boughtt it. When you have the disc, just insert it inside of windows, it will give you options to install the driver & software for a specific toshiba device.
