LG washer (WT7600) has white plastic flecks in the wash. Just did a drum-out cleaning, if it helps?

Flecks of plastic are very small but plentiful. Only thing I saw with the drum out was a small plastic ridge around the top of the drum. Is that maybe getting clipped off? First load after cleaning scrud out was towels and it got out of balance a bit and very noisy on high-speed spin.

If you? Just bought a white appliance, be sure to do at least one weekly cleaning of the plastic exterior. Calm down, don't use soap and water for everything. This could be one of the reasons why yellowing starts to appear. And remember to ALWAYS remove the product from the socket before cleaning, avoiding any accident. Nobody here wants to be shocked. If it's a heavy product, which makes it difficult to turn it off all the time, remember to at least wear a rubber shoe or glove)

Testimonial: "Thank you, but I may not have explained the problem sufficiently. I took the tub out again and foun d the white plastic to be scraped from the white plastic basin by part of the stainless tub rail that as sticking out. I have banged it back to flush with a hammer and I'm ready to reassemble again. Now I'm wondering if the tub should go in a certain way, or if there is a way to repair the gouges on the plastic basin before I put it back together. Some of the gouges are pretty deep but have not cut all the way through."

The problem is the wash comes out with brown flecks all over it. I have taken out the agitator and cleaned it, this hasn't changed the result, still brown flecks all over wash

WASH PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
9.1 Creasing
Creasing can be caused by over loading the washer or the dryer. Permanent Press or Delicate
cycles have been designed to minimise creasing as they use a lower spin speed. Do not leave wet
clothes to sit in the washer or laundry basket.
9.2 Soiling
Soiling is the result of insufficient detergent for the load. White clothes are better washed
separately. Separate lightly and heavily soiled items, as clothes can pick up soil from dirty wash
water. Cold water below 68oF / 20 oC does not wash effectively. Select the wash temperature
according to soil type. For example, blood and mud are better washed in cold water, while sweat
and oil based soil wash better in warmer water. Loads made up of articles of varying sizes will
wash better (e.g. full loads of sheets may not wash that well). Hard water requires more detergent
than soft water.
9.3 Linting
Wash lint givers (eg. towels, flannelette sheets) separately from lint collectors (eg. synthetic
fabrics). Over loading the washer can increase the likelihood of linting. Insufficient detergent for
the load can increase linting as there will not be enough detergent to hold the lint in suspension.
Over drying synthetic fabrics in a dryer can cause a build-up of static electricity and result in the
fabrics attracting lint.
9.4 Detergent Residue
Over loading the washer can result in detergent residue being caught in the creases of the fabrics.
If this occurs, decrease the load size. Some detergents need to be pre-dissolved. Check the
instructions for the detergent. Cold ambient temperatures, cold washes or short agitation times
may not let the detergent dissolve properly. In these cases pre-dissolve the detergent.
Overdosing of detergent can also cause residue when foam breaks down and will show as white
specs on the clothing. Poor quality detergents can result in residue.
9.5 Black Marks on Clothes
A build up caused by the interaction of fabric softener and detergent (scrud) can flake off and mark
clothes. Do not use too much fabric softener, maximum 75cc. If this is a problem, it is
recommended that the machine is periodically filled with hot water, plus 1-2 cups of dishwasher
powder and left to soak.
9.6 Grey Marks on Clothes
Not enough detergent for the amount of soil on the clothes can result in grey marks on clothes. If
this is a problem it is recommended that the machine be periodically filled with hot water, plus
detergent and left to soak.
9.7 Dye Transfer
Wash and dry non-colorfast clothes separately. Non colorfast clothes left sitting in a washer or
laundry basket can transfer dye to other clothes.
9.8 Tangling
Washing with too much water (i.e. under loading) can cause the clothes to tangle around each
other. Do not load the machine by wrapping clothes around the agitator.

The dark items of my coloured wash seem to be covered with white flecks

HI

This is a basic occurrence that will occur when there is mold or mildew present within your units containment structure. I would recommend the old fashion hot water and bleach bath method. This primitive procedure will cleanse the internal drum and circulation hoses/chambers, as well.

PROCEDURE:

1. Start the washing cycle and selected the hot wash.

2 Add one cup of bleach into the appropriate siphoning compartment.((Be sure to not add garments/clothes))

3 Allow washer to complete the cycle.

4.Repeat the steps twice.

Our Kenmore 665 was leaving white flecks on dishes and glasses

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

OKI Laser Printer C5300 printing on paper with black flecks

IF you are using after market black toner then we found your problem. Putting a real toner on now wont help cause dodgy toner is now in the drum, you need to replace Black drum and use real toner. If you are using gen OKI toner, then just replace the Black (K) drum.

Clean led head and these printers dont need a teco, they are designed for wearing parts to replaced by operator ie Transfer belt, fuser, drums and toners.

Dirty washing

Does your washer smell? Is your rubber door seal gungy too?

If so then use 1/2 cup of Washing Soda Crystals (50p for a 1kg bag from most supermarkets)
set washer to 60 degree wash and run machine for full hot cycle with no clothes in it... just the Washing Soda.
I did this with my washer which literally reeked, and my friends have since done theirs and the results are amazing...
Go and check your drain when you finish too... mine sparkles now and it was gunged up before.. I now add a desertspoon of Washing Soda to every wash.... I place it in the crease of the door seal and little by little all the mould is disappearing, even though the hot wash cleaned the gunge the black spots remained. My washer smells so clean now and no more black flecks on the clothes either... (these are loose gunge from the outer drum, right inside the works of your machine...)

All the best
Sue
