Question about Panasonic Lands Phones

Open Question

I have an old analog Panasonic HVC-VB44223-G phone. The main power supply to the system was hit by a power surge and the phones are not working. We did replace the power supply for the system.

We currently have the old Panasonic DBS 824 office system. We have an old unit we just bought for parts.

Panasonic Home Theater System ....No power

Likely a power surge hit your house while away. This happens when power turns back on or lightning hits close to your house. If insured, call insurance company about it. You may be covered for replacement or have deductible applied. Small appliances like this are most susceptible to power surge. There is not enough protection designed in.. The best protection is surge module on main breaker panel or buy a protected power strip to protect high value electronics.

Digital cordless phone Model# KX-TG6413 lightning struck close the house, heard a loud click in the base unit, phones no longer work, can base unit and power cord be replaced, and would this fix the...

If you are lucky, it may just be a blown fuse. You can try disassembing the base unit and checking for an open fuse inside on the circuit board. Please remember to disconnect the power supply and the phone line before disassembly.

Otherwise the circuits in the base unit were probably fried in the resulting power surge and are likely beyond economical repair.

However, the old handset(s) are probably still good. So if you do get a new replacement base unit of the same model, then you can probably salvage the old handsets and just program them for use with the new base.

I hope that was helpful, good luck and take care.

Will a panasonic KX-T7636 work with my ta824?

No. An 824 is analog and the 76xx is digital that works only on the TDA/TDE/NCP systems.

Older analog phones (70xx,71xx,73xx and 75xx) will work, and possibly some of the old 616 and 1232 sets, as well as a 308xx 3-line set.

I have a [email protected] Model No. E5908, 5.8GHz Corded/Cordless Telephone/Answering System that has always worked perfectly until a bad lightning storm hit a couple of days ago which caused the power to go off. The...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no reset on the phone system, and it's a near certainty that a power surge during the storm "fried" the sensitive circuitry in your phone. The same thing happened to me a couple of years ago and I ended up replacing my phone system. A corded phone in the house at the same time lost its ringer during our storm. To this day it still works fine, but will not ring. While you cannot save your present equipment, it's possible to protect your replacement by installing a phone line surge protector (available at just about any store that sells phones or computers) and a whole house surge protector that you install at the main outside breaker box (you'll need to search the web for that one. Look for a SYCOM surge protector).

ATX-300-12Z was hit with a power surge (thought we had a surge protector). Green light on power supply blinking at 2X/second. No power at USB devices (or anywhere else.) PC was on when surge hit.

There were 2 Switching power supply circuit inside the ATX PSU. There's a Standy PWM circuit whichSupply +5V to the PWM IC of the Main PWM. Stand by pwm still working or insufficient voltage, lower than +5V. This is the reason you still have Green light. Check or replaced small filter capacitor around 100 MFD 16V, open resistor or shorted diode that was nearest of the PWM IC..
Watch out for charge voltage on big capacitors.

Panasonic KX-T7433

These phones are digital proprietary telephones which means that they only work on panasonic telephone systems and not on normal analog lines. If you have a panasonic system the correct way is to plug the line into the " To Main Unit ", the handset into " Handset/Headset" and a normal analog phone into " To Tel ". If the wiring on the line jack was not done digitally the phone will also not work

At the main base unit, unplug the power in line for a minute. That fixed mine. It has happened twice...don't know why.

Analog card not working in tda100

you will still need to dial a 9 from the phone to get an outside line, or you can program the analog ext to auto dial it for you. If you still can't then it sounds like the phone is in the wrong COS so it doesn't have access to the CO's.
