Huion Kamvas Pro 13 pen drawing while hovering, how do I fix?

I've tried everything... I've reinstalled the drivers over and over, searched everywhere, and even blew $40 on a new pen. Still, my pen will keep drawing like it's pressed down on the tablet while hovering. It does this even when the pen nib is removed. It does it even when the drivers are uninstalled. Please help me out y'all.

If you are experiencing issues with the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 pen drawing while hovering, there are a few steps you can take to try and fix the issue:

  1. Adjust the cursor speed: You can adjust the cursor speed in the Huion driver settings to make the cursor movement more accurate and less sensitive.
  2. Adjust the pen pressure sensitivity: You can also adjust the pen pressure sensitivity in the Huion driver settings to make the pen less sensitive to hovering.
  3. Check the pen nib: Make sure that the nib of the pen is not worn or damaged, and if it is, replace it with a new one.
  4. Check the pen tip sensor: Make sure that the pen tip sensor is not dirty or damaged, and if it is, clean or replace it.
  5. Reinstall the Huion driver: Uninstall the Huion driver and then reinstall the latest version from the Huion website.
  6. Check for updates: Make sure that your tablet is running the latest firmware and check for any updates.
If the problem persists, it would be best to contact Huion's technical support for further assistance. They may have more specific troubleshooting steps to help you fix the issue.

My guess is that the pen just needs the batteries replaced. You only change the tip when it wears out from drawing a lot. there sould be some software that lets you change the button configuration on the pen. look on the products webpage. should find some software to help you out

My Genius Easypen i405X tablet keeps clicking when I hover with pen.

Since you got this just a few days ago, you should take it back to where you got it and talk to them about what is going on. There is a warranty and you don't want to void that!

Hover problem

I just had a similar problem. I was able to get it fixed by uninstalling the driver, unplugging my tablet, rebooting the computer and then installing the newest driver. While trouble shooting, I found a blog post that explains how to pull the pen apart and glue the broken 'sensor' back together. Search for "Fixing a Broken Wacom Pen" if you think that might be the problem.
