If your TurboChef oven is heating up but the menu or display is not coming on, it indicates a possible issue with the control panel or display module. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to address the problem:

  1. Power cycle the oven: Turn off the power to the oven by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the unit. Leave it powered off for a few minutes, then plug it back in or turn the power back on. This can help reset the electronics and may resolve temporary glitches.
  2. Check the power supply: Ensure that the oven is receiving a stable power supply. Verify that the outlet is working correctly by plugging in another device. If the outlet is functioning properly, check the power cord and connections for any damage or loose connections.
  3. Inspect the control panel and display module: Check for any visible signs of damage, loose connections, or corrosion on the control panel and display module. If there are any issues, it may require professional servicing or replacement of the affected components.
  4. Perform a factory reset: Consult the user manual or contact TurboChef support to find out if there is a way to perform a factory reset on the oven. This can reset the settings and potentially resolve software-related issues.

Turbo chef is not heating up, coming up on it reads, f8 low heat

the problem with f8 like you have said LOW HEAT
, IF the oven does not warm up in time , which is usually 8 min , it goes into f8 fault code
now please check the hi limit button , on the back of the oven , left hand side, bottom corner, if it reset and starts heating, please check bottom element and temp reading IR , IF it rises very quickly and the elemnt is glowing red , please switch off the unit at the power point , you have problem with the solid state relay, if the temp is slowly rising , then you might only have an issue with the hi limit reset button thermostat, FIRST JUST CHECK THE RESET BUTTON

My turbo chef owen sense somtime 208vac and some time 240vac

Hello. If you take the right side panel off, unplug first please. at the back is a blower motor, two screws on the back vertical rail, and one at the front edge of where it is connected to blow, probably under the foil tape, this will remove the blower. On the back wall toward the bottom, under all the relays, is a voltage transformer that tells the controller which voltage you have, replace it, and problem will be corrected. If you are not comfortable with this, call Turbo Chef for a local servicer, and call them to repair.
As for the F6 EC error, you are having a temperature problem due to the control area overheating, there is a blower on the back, and vents on the front, and side, either these are clogged, the fan grid is clogged, and the interior has alot of dust coating the interior of the right side, please unplug, vacuum, and clean out the dust etc.., after reassembly, after about 30 minutes of operation, the blower on the back should be on, if not you need another.

Hope that helps, and thank you.

My turbo chef oven

The wave guide cover is a simple fix the problem being that after it is replaced you should have a leak check performed I dont know if you have a source to rent a refractomemter to perform this test. Most honest service companies will have a ref meter to check for rad leakage.
