If it is connected to WIFI,
Go to settings on your phone, go to connectivity, go to WiFi and then reset your password from there. If your Tablet asks you for a new password, then enter 12345 because that is the default WiFi password for all Android devices. After that, you can enter a new password and re-create your WiFi password.
you will need to set up the wifi first , there is a spot in the setup screens that says wifi , go to this and expand it by clicking on it , this will show a list of avail networks (there could be more than one) select yours in the list , a prompt will show up (enter network password ) you must enter your network password exactly as its in your router (or coffee shop router) and press enter when done , it will prompt back with connecting " when its done it will go back to previous screen , make sure your main prompt for wifi is still on then open your browser and enter a desination it should work , I will tell you this model is very picky about signal strength and wont connect unless you have least four bars .
Are you sure of Wifi password is correct?
if so, 1st; try restarting your ipad by holding down power/sleep button untill it show "Slide to shut down" leave it off for 10 seconds & then re-open it.enter the Wifi -password, sometimes this step works.
2nd solution ; try resetting your iPad network settings, it will not affect your ipad in any thing except it will forget all entered passwords for any wifi you have already connected before. go to General from Setting, choose resett, and inside only reset network setting, shut down ipad & try to connect to the wifi again. Hope this solution work for you. Also you may try shutting down & opening your router again after 10 seconds while off. Good Luck.

First of all, you must have the password which is set for your home WIFI. You can't do anything without it. Assuming you got the password, Go to tablet's Settings, turn on WIFI. Most tablets connect to the internet through WIFI. Only a few can use SIM card to connect through 3G or 4G data connection. For WIFI connection, you must have a WIFI router at home. You will normally password-protect the WIFI rounter. To connect the tablet to the internet through the WIFI-router that is in operation, you will configure its WIFI settings to match the router's password. This will be done by going to tablet's Setting, turn on WIFI, click on your router in the list of detected routers, enter the password when prompted. Ensure that Connected is shown against your router. You can then browse the internet.
To start you need to check you are entering the right password! The password is the one for the WiFi! Is it written on a card or on the router, it will be case sensitive!
