Hisense tv struck by lightning repair kid

The Toshiba Tv was struck by lighting and doesn't turn on for any outlet or reason so I took the back of it apart and saw damage on the motherboard for power and I wanted to know if the damage would have killed all of the electronics in the TV or just the power board needs replacing. The tv is a Toshiba fire stick tv and model number is 55LF621U19 thank you in advance

Total right off unfortunately. 125,000 volts is very damaging to all the components. Claim on house insurance, some cover it.

You can find used power supply boards and main boards on ebay, maybe other sites that offer repair parts, but it's hard to say if the damage was limited to just the power board. You might get lucky and fix it with a replacement board, or you could end up several hundred dollars more to keep the TV working. You just have to decide if it's worth the investment to fix vs replace.

Picture too dark on lcd hisense
get to the screen menu and alter the contrast to lighten up the screen. take it back to the repairer as it may be only be replaceable-not repairable.

Ensure the power outlet has power. Try TV on a different power outlet. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

If you have electronics experience then you can check the power supply board for fuses or damaged components.

Most TV repairers will give you a quote for the repair at little or no cost so have your TV examined before scrapping it.

yes it can be repaired,mostly tv strucked by lightning are dead set because of the very high voltage that goes to the circuit coming from the lightning.there are voltage protector on the circuit.they are placed on the high voltage section of the circuit example are,pico resistors,glass fuseand varistors..yuo need to check them out..

Lighting struck the apartment about a week ago, tv was plugged in when lighting struck apartment. Tv does not turn on anymore.
Best to take it to a repair centre as lightning damage can cause either minor fault such as an internal fuse blown or major problems that would make it uneconomical to repair. Ask for an estimate for the cost to repair.

TV was struck by lightning
If it was struck by lightning, the surge would completely fry the insides of your TV. Your TV probably won't work anymore and you may have to consider replacing it. Some TVs have accident warranties so something like this could be protected, but if not, you will have to purchase a new one.

Toshiba air conditioning unit not working RAS-13UKH-G I've switched off the internal power supply to hopefully reset the ac but whenever I switch it back on the operation green light starts blinking and if I turn the ac on with the remote, the yellow timer light also starts blinking.
