Blomberg refrigerator r600a suction pressure at -15 inhg - Normal?

Blomberg fridge compressor was shot, replaced and charged with 600a to roughly 1.7oz as per specs. Was running fine in the beginning but now freezer is working fine but fridge temps are high! Fan is running in both, defrost working fine and no access to fridge evaporator as its foamed in. Suction side showing -15in hg while running, understand characteristics of 600 is different but certain suction should be in + side - tried adding more refg brought down suction from -22 to -15in hg but now looks system is overcharged. any input??

I doubt you have the specialized equipment needs to do this successfully. I wrote this for vehicle AC, but just change the word 'AC' to 'Fridge'. The procedure is the same. You can't eyeball this stuff. Also, with the new compressor, did you add oil and a new dryer?

My Blomberg freezer seems to be running almost continuously

Can be 2 things. If its over freezing, its likely the thermostat has jammed closed and continually causing the compressor to keep running. This will make the freezer get too cold and over freeze. If its not icing up and not getting cold, I would say its lost its gas charge. The compressor is continually running, trying to get down to temperature.

Remove drip pan

the pan hooks on to a loop at the top of the compressor. It is very difficult to get off and the instructions in the manual are not helpful. If you push the tray backwards into the fridge, that should help unhook the pan, once unhooked, you can shimmy it out. Really bad design.

Can i recharge compressor labeled R600a with R134a

If your seriously going to do a conversion I would atleast change the compressor to one that is designed for R-134A. The density in the two refridgerants are different and I just don't see a positive outcome by leaving the old compressor in.
