What's the error M1.04/19912A50?

The error code M1.04/19912A50 on your Onkyo AV receiver HT-R398 typically indicates a firmware or software-related issue. To resolve this problem and reset your receiver, you can follow these steps:
  1. Power Cycle the Receiver:
    • Turn off the receiver and unplug it from the power source.
    • Wait for about 10-15 minutes to ensure that all internal components have fully powered down.
    • Plug the receiver back in and turn it on.
  2. Factory Reset:
    • If the error persists after power cycling, you may need to perform a factory reset to restore the receiver to its default settings. Note that this will erase all your custom settings, so make sure to back up any important configurations if possible.
    • To perform a factory reset, refer to your receiver's user manual for specific instructions. Typically, this involves pressing and holding specific buttons on the front panel while powering on the receiver. The exact combination of buttons may vary by model.
  3. Firmware Update:
    • Ensure that your receiver's firmware is up to date. Visit the Onkyo website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your HT-R398 model. If updates are available, follow the provided instructions to update the firmware.
  4. Contact Customer Support:
    • If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it's a good idea to contact Onkyo customer support or visit their official support website. They may be able to provide specific guidance or solutions for the error code you're encountering.
Remember to consult your receiver's user manual for model-specific instructions, as the steps to reset or update firmware can vary between different Onkyo models. Additionally, be cautious when performing a factory reset, as it will erase all settings and return the receiver to its default state.

ONKYO AV Receiver - model is HT-S3910 (B)

Hi,the letters after NG refer to the affected channels - left center, right surround, etc. Do you have speakers plugged into these channels? If yes try to unplage all speakers then plage one speaker at a time, check your speakers if that dosent work for you try to factory rest your unit .

Displaying....DSP NG can some one please help? some kind of error.

In my experience, NG on a system made in Japan means "No Good" (error). NG might stand for something else, but regardless, it sounds like an internal issue with the amp.

Our pump bearings noisy, had small engine shop repair hook back up , now ce reports on heater ????

Pump bearings, hook up, CE error...not following your sequence of events here. CE error on a Hayward heater means a problem with the control board communicating with the display board. Generally it means you need a new display/bezel assembly. None of this should have anything to do with a motor repair unless at some point during all this someone grounded out line power and sent a surge thru the system in the process.

Showing warning psd ng in dvx102 panasonic video cam

PSD NG means that there is a problem with your electronic image stabilization system.I think Panasonic got stuck with a bad batch of gyros. Take it back if you can, otherwise use lower resolution or hold very still when filming.
