maker and model of this RIG<<<<
a RIG can be anything on earth electronics, or gear as some say.
TV, old stereos gear, radio's endless.
really 1 million things not told.
but that C prefix smacks of secret contracted parts, google can't find it but I will not search all day.

RCA does not make then now.
no gear told
the transistor has date code there, not told that.
nor photos of it.
kinda hopeless sorry

I have a 42 inch RCA flatscreen that the picture will not come on I have unplugged TV and cable and no change.

hi first of all u should check ur transistor connections.Check your Horizontal and vertical output transistors.You should also check the horizontal and vertical yoke connections as well as your low voltage regulators.... if any of these got damaged u should purchase a new one.. but try to purchase with the help of a tv service assistant...

Looks like the projection is fried. I'm afraid you would have to exchange for new one if you can or purchase new Tube.

Switch mode power supply not switching and buzzing when powered up.

Common failure " buzzing " cause = bad flyback transformer
& horiz output transistor = replace both at same time.......
part # 's 257807 & 237470 RCA only No sub's.........T.

No power and squealing!

There is going to be a wire that is connected to the back of the tube. The item that wire comes from (Flyback Transformer) needs to be replaced. Also, the HOT (Horizontal Output Transistor) is likely bad as well. It'll be a 3 pin unit connected to a heat sync around the Flyback.

If you can find the horizontal output transistor which is located near the flyback transformer,one lead of this drive transformer is connected to the base lead. (horizontal output transistor). There may be a little coil in series with this lead going to the transistor.
