Vizio TV D40f-G9 must be unplugged and wait 30 seconds before plugging back in to start. Is the main/power board or T-con board the issue?

It's not going to be the tcon board, it's either the main or power board, pull the back off and test the PS_ON pin on the power board to see if your loosing the command for power supply enable (3.3VDC) if so replace the main, if it stays then the power supply. Chances are it's your EEPROM that's bad causing the issue your having

There may be an internal short circuit with your TVs motherboard. The POP sound you heard might be a breakdown of the fuse installed on the power board. any way, your TV need a through check up. If you're not sound in electronics, it will be better to contact any experienced service technician in this case. Please do not do any experiments with this set. OK?

Two vizio TV's with issues

Take them to a TV repair centre as they are complex to repair. You may find that your homeowner insurance will pay for the repairs if you can demonstrate that it was a power surge that damage them.

I'm getting an f 71 code on myKennmore elite smart wash steam care quiet pak 9 HE5T. What does that mean?

the F70 and F71 error codes on this model of washer indicates a communication problem between the user interface control board and the central control unit (main control board). These error codes can sometimes be caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. Try unplugging the washer to completely disconnect electrical power. Wait 1 minute and then plug the washer back in to the see if the fault code clears. If the code reappears, then you could have a wire harness connection problem, a failed user interface control board or a failed central control unit." from here. Hope this helps, good luck.

Vizio lcd tv will not turn on but the

This is a very common issue with this model TV. The problem is caused by the power supply controller chip. This is a small 3 pin chip on the video logic board. When this chip fails the TV video board never gets the signal to turn on and display a picture. Here is a picture of the video controller board from the TV with the power supply controller chip circled, and here is a link to order the IC chip. Open the back of the TV and look at the little chip, you should be able to see that it is burnt. Replacing the chip should bring the TV back to life.

No.The tv video board have dead components, that the board where it is connected to the CRT-(tv picture tube).Troubleshooting that video board and changes parts should fix ur tv problems.Hope ur tv problems,it is not the video board main big IC colors processor inverter. This big IC is a pain to change and probally not in the market anymore.Troubleshoot test all the capacitors around that big IC colors processor inverter alot of times just those few capacitors are dead only.
