Does my Alcatel GO FLIP 3 have do not disturb? Something happened and my phone will not ring anymore. I must have changed something and I don't know what?

Question edited for clarity and correct name of the phone.
Question moved from Land Phones to Alcatel Cellphone.

The A3 has Do Not Disturb, but the Flip doesn't. Your phone is very basic. Here is the manual

https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/content/dam/mpcs/faqsandsupport/alcatel/Alcatel-GO-FLIP-3-UserGuide.pdf

So not ringing is likely caused by turning the volume down to off.

How do I turn on the speakerphone on the Alcatel A392C? There is no speaker icon anywhere on the phone that I can find. This is a flip phone, not a smart phone.

The Alcatel A392A doesn't have a dedicated speaker phone button. During a call, you need to press the right soft-key (above End and below the hinge of the flip phone). This is the Handsfree option. See page 13 (page 14 of the PDF) of the manual for the A392A, available on the Alcatel support site: https://support.alcatelonetouch.us/hc/en-us/articles/115002213467-A392A-User-Manual . The direct link to the manual is https://support.alcatelonetouch.us/hc/en-us/article_attachments/115004532427/A392A-UserManual.pdf . I hope this helps.

I need to extend the length of time my phone rings on incoming calls

Hello, Mary -

I checked the user manual for your Alcatel 3003G cell phone:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1150047/Alcatel-Tribe-3003g.html?page=1#manual

I did not find any information regarding increasing the length of time of rings of incoming calls in the manual. So, I thought the incoming rings length of time may be dependent upon your cell phone service provider, Vodafone.

I found some information on a Vodafone Support page:
https://support.vodafone.co.uk/
How to increase the time before a call goes to voicemail?
(Quote)
Your Vodafone mobile is set to ring for 15 seconds before going to voicemail. You can change how long it rings for, choosing from 5 to 30 seconds in 5-second intervals.

To choose your desired ringing time:
  • Enter **61*121*11* on your Vodafone mobile
  • Choose the number of seconds you'd like your phone to ring for, followed by #
  • Press Call
  • A confirmation message will pop up on your screen with your new ring time
For example, if you want to set your Vodafone mobile to ring for 25 seconds, you enter **61*121*11*25#, and press Call. When the message pops up, you'll know it's all done.

Watch this simple video to find out how to increase the time before a call goes to voicemail.

Best wishes.

How do I change the number of rings on my Alcatel?

The number of rings is set by the phone service, not by you. And don't mistake a bunch of rings when calling. At times, the phone doesn't connect to the number for the first few... So it can ring 6 or 8 times before getting to voicemail.

How do i change the number of rings before voicemail picks up on a samsung rugby

For all of you that want a real answer here ya go. This isn't something you can change on your phone this has to be changed with your service provider. If you are with AT&T, like I am, then this is the solution for you (link of where I found it below as well). 1. enter *#61*11# and press send/talk on your phone.
2. write down the number your calls are currently forwarded to (usually +1401#######, but not always). this is your voicemail deposit number.
3. decide how long you want the phone to ring in 5 second intervals. the maximum time is 30 seconds. i'd recommend 25 seconds or less, as using 30 may cause you to be billed for a minute of airtime each time someone is forwarded to voicemail.
4. now enter **61*[number from step 2]*11*[number from step 3, use 2 digits]# and press send/talk.

example
voicemail deposit number is +14015551212
you want it to ring for 20 seconds
you would enter **61*+14015551212*11*20# and press send/talk.

if you have trouble with the above procedure, you can always call customer care at 800-331-0500 to change it.
OR QUESTION: How can I adjust the number of times my wireless phone will ring before the caller goes to voicemail? ANSWER: Contact Customer Care at 1-800-331-0500 or dial 611 from your wireless phone to change the amount of time your phone will ring before going to voice mail. The adjustments made by Customer Care are based on the traditional ring heard by the caller, not the unique Ringtone you hear from your phone. I just wanted to add that increasing the ring length to 30 seconds will not cause you to be charged a minute should the caller go to voicemail. This was confirmed by an AT&T technician.

Nokia 6120 Classic longer ringing time

Hi,

This is an operator supported feature. You need to punch in this code.

**61*destination*11*nn#[SEND]

destination is the number the calls get diverted to

nn = time in seconds (5/10/15/20/25/30)

This will work if you operator have not disabled this code.
