Where is the spark arrestor on a Ryobi S430 string Trimmer?

2mm to 2.4mm

Try to use diesel fuel in the spark plug hole install the spark plug,Leave it for 24 hours and retry it and see if it unceases..

it has a left hand thread which means that to unscrew it you have to turn it in a clockwise direction like putting a nut on a bolt

No need to gap from a new spark plug unless the plug was dropped on the electrode.

Your spark arrestor is in the muffler of the trimmer.
You will dissassemble the muffler and there will be a type of screen/metal with holes,etc...that is your spark arrestor.
Clean and reassemble and your good to go

turn switch on and if you did that check air filter and muffler. if either of these are clogged it will not start

Ryobi told me the unit can't have the s430 trimmer bottom end raised higher than the engine at any time, or it will leak. Apparently they released a product to compete with other companies for cheap 4 cycle trimmers without much care for the end user.
