I use this information in photography, its caled EXIF Data, and basicaly is the internal information stamp in the pic (date, camera type, focus used, expsure range, etc, etc).
EXIF data on each movie clip recorded is stored in the accompanying .THM
file which is a small JPEG thumbnail file of the first frame of the
movie.
Force open the *.thm file with photoshop (or simply make a backup copy
and change the extension to *.jpg) and read the EXIF via
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+I.
I know that the video files also keep this information and could be vewer and modificated; try to check this software and apply it:
